Any easy way to make a fake roster for NCAA 14?
I would love to change it up. How about having some lower level teams, like Rice for example, be one of the powerhouses? Is there any roster like that, where the ratings are completely random and all the players and numbers are fake? Is there any way to make this easily if it hasn't already been done? Seems like a great idea.

If you want random teams to be good then you would have to edit the ratings yourself.
Better yet just sim to year 6 and create a new coach, then pick a team, and you now have random players since the original file has cycled out completely.Relax, it's just a video game! -

If you want random ratings, you could open a roster file in the Dynasty Editor, export the Player Ratings Table. Open the export (a *.csv file) in MS Excel. Then use the formula "=RANDBETWEEN(lowest #,highest #)" to assign random numbers to the player skill columns (provided you knew which columns contained player skills as the program will only export abbreviated column headers). Save the file as a *.csv (removing the formulas but retaining the randomly generated values) and import it back into the Dynasty editor. Save the roster. Re: Any easy way to make a fake roster for NCAA 14?
Wish it was so easy on a macI'm doing a best ever on Nebraska by hand and it's taking forever and a lifetime after that haha...
People that have done ratings done have done crazy things... i.e. Taylor Martinez is a 91 OVR in a 2013 ratings and Eric Crouch is a 82 OVR on a all-time ratings!? Probably should be reverse at least... HS's are wrong on almost all of them, as well as position, height, weight (I use the official Huskers.com Senior data).
I wish I knew how others figure out ratings for the 29 types + OVR = 30 type of ratings plus the bio ratings and appearance ratings... curious??Comment

Somebody else made the suggestion; but you can sim up to year six when all of the base roster players are no longer in the game. If you want to go the extra mile...you can export that dynasty roster from year 6 into excel and then copy and paste it onto a base roster so that you won't have to do it every time you want to change it up. Some other suggestions would be:
Using the editor...
1) Change the prestige of the schools. If you want Rice to become a powerhouse then change them to a 6* program and drop let's say Bama to a 1*. Then adjust recruiting pitches accordingly.
2) Global edit attributes by team. Raise Rice players ratings across the board and lower Bamas."Dunks are tough, but when a 35 footer come rainin out the sky...it'll wire you up"Comment
