This may be the Elephant in the room. But I want to leave 2K for good.

I am strictly an online player. Whether it is just online against someone or Ultimate Team. I don't play Myplayer at all, not even sure what it is called on EA.

Are there Ranked Games? Lobbies? Can you pick and choose who you play based upon disconnection, records, ext.

Yes there are online ranked matches and it shows you the opponents record and DNF while he is selecting his team. There are leader boards and you can play best of 7 series with your friends list. Online has played very smooth for me with little to no lag (ps4). I don't think there are any lobbies.

I also got into Live as I'm strictly an online player and 2k dropped the ball in that area. I only tried two games online so far, but I think it's worth noting that my first try didn't connect at all. It failed to load into the game. 2nd try I was able to connect with my opponent, but the game was a little laggy. Hopefully this was just a couple release day hiccups.
