    TNK - NHL15 SLIDERS (15 minute / All Star)

    TNK NHL15 ALL-STAR SLIDERS v1.0

Here is what I am using for my Bruins franchise and getting very good games. If they could just patch in player editing I would be so happy. This game actually plays well despite it's faults and I'm hopeful that they can clean a few things up with tuners and patches. Anyway.....here are the sliders....I'll be posting box scores soon.

          TNK - BRUINS TEST FRANCHISE

Game #2 of The Season - Boston Bruins @ Detroit Red Wings

The Red Wings got on the board midway through the 1st period on a nice goal from Tatar but Boston would answer back a few minutes later on the power play when Soderberg fed a beautiful pass from behind the net to Reilly Smith who snapped it past Howard to tie the game at 1-1. Detroit took the lead back early in the 2nd period on the 2nd goal of the game from Tatar to make it 2-1. Boston would respond just 18 seconds later to tie the game at 2-2 on a great individual effort by Soderberg who setup Matt Fraser on the doorstep. The score would remain 2-2 and we would head to the 3rd period with the game tied 2-2. The Red Wings came out flying in the 3rd period but Tuukka Rask made several key saves to keep the score tied 2-2 until midway through the period when David Krejci took over. Krejci worked a great cycle down low with Lucic before walking out in front and beating Howard to give Boston a 3-2 lead with 10:16 remaining. The Krejci line remained on the ice after the goal and scored again as Krejci made a great deke to split two defenders, walked in alone and beat Howard on a beautiful move to the backhand and turn a 2-2 tie into a 4-2 lead for the Bruins in a span of 38 seconds. Zdeno Chara put the Bruins up 5-2 with just over 5 minutes to play when Krejci won a faceoff in the offensive zone back to Chara who beat Howard with a slapshot to give Boston a 3 goal lead. The Bruins played well down the stretch to finish off the 5-2 victory

Re: TNK - NHL15 SLIDERS (15 minute / All Star)

Guys - I'm asking for some of you who are already playing with or want to give these a try to PLEASE share your results and give feedback on what you think needs tweaking or what you enjoy about them

But also - don't make a recommendation based on your results form 1 or 2 games.....please play a good 5 to 10 games and make an overall analysis on what you're seeing.

Right now my focus is on the feel of the game more than end results.....I like the way they are playing right now but want to get a good amount of gmaes to fine tune these before I start over with my real Bruins franchise.

Hey TNK you think these would work well with 10 min periods? I use your sliders in pretty much every sports game and they're always top notch.

To make line change times more realistic I think 15 is the way to go...The games just need to be more defensive... What's up with the rosters are these sept 3rd the only updated rosters?????

                        TNK - BRUINS TEST FRANCHISE

Game #3 of The Season - Washington Capitals @ Boston Bruins

1st Period - The shots were even at 8-8 and both teams played well in their defensive zones but the Bruins capitalized on a couple chances to take a 2-0 lead on goals by Eriksson and Bergeron.

2nd Period - The Capitals came out flying and dominated play with great possession and a pair of goals by Ovechkin and Backstrom to tie the game up at 2-2. The Bruins picked up their play late in the period and Carl Soderberg put the Bruins up 3-2 with 10 seconds to play in the period when he fired a shot past Holtby from the slot and the Bruins would head to the 3rd period leading 3-2.

3rd Period - Washington was dominating through the opening 10 minutes of the period and had a powerplay but could not beat Niklas Svedberg in the Boston net as the Bruins were holding on for dear life with a 3-2 lead. Jay beagle had a good chance as he was setup in the slot with just over 8:00 to play but Svedberg made another key save and then got some help from the post on a shot by Chimera as there was 7:57 remaining and the Bruins were reeling. The Bruins finally got some pressure in the offensive zone and scored twice in less than a minute on goals by Reilly Smith and Milan Lucic to extend their lead to 5-2. Washington answered back and made it 5-3 after a bad turnover by Kevan Miller a little over 5:00 remaining but that would be as close as they would get and Boston wins a very entertaining game 5-3

                        * Bruins rookie center Ryan Spooner left the game in the 2nd period after getting crunched in the corner and is going to miss at least a week with a mild concussion. Matt Fraser will take Spooner's spot in the lineup and skate on the top line with Krejci and Lucic.

                        * Niklas Svedberg got the start in net for Boston in place of Tuukka Rask and Svedberg was very good as he stopped 32 of 35 shots and made several big saves in the 3rd period when the game was in the balance and the Capitals were swarming the Boston net.

                          TNK - BRUINS TEST FRANCHISE

Game #4 of The Season - Colorado Avalanche @ Boston Bruins

This was an outstanding tight game that featured some outstanding goaltending by Rask and Varlamov. The Bruins took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Paille in the 2nd period and the score would remain 1-0 until Matt Fraser scored with under 2:00 remaining in regulation to make it 2-0. Colorado scored on a deflection by Tanguay to cut it to 2-1 with under a minute to play but Brad marchand iced it with an empty netter to give the Bruins a hard fought 3-1 victory.

                          * This was hands down the most enjoyable game I have played so far on NHL15.......had to make smart plays, dumps, cycle, etc.....this game forced me to think and not be careless the entire game.....it was AWESOME

                          * Patrice Bergeron left the game with an injury and did not return.....even after the game it still said "evaluation pending" so that may not be good news

                            TNK - BRUINS TEST FRANCHISE

Game #5 of The Season - Boston Bruins @ Detroit Red Wings

The Bruins came out buzzing and got the a quick goal on a snipe by Loui Eriksson to give Boston a 1-0 lead. Detroit got on the board midway through the 1st period as Drew Miller's goal tied it at 1-1. Boston would score on a deflection by Milan Lucic later in the period and we would head to the 1st intermission with the Bruins leading 2-1. The 2nd period was all Detroit early on as the Red Wings took over and started to control the play but Tuukka Rask was up to the task and made several big stops. The Bruins rewarded Rask late in the period as they entered the zone on the rush and Soderberg hit Zdeno Chara who was trailing the play and Chara ripped a wrist shot past Jimmy Howard to put Boston up 3-1 after 2 periods. We would head to the 3rd period and the Red Wings came out flying and got a quick goal just 1:57 in to the period when Pavel Datsyuk slammed home a rebound after Rask made a great save on Tatar and Detroit cut the Boston lead to 3-2. The Red Wings continued to absolutely dominate the 3rd period but Tuukka Rask was stopping everything in an effort to steal the game as the Bruins could not get anything going offensively. Time was winding down with the Bruins leading 3-2 and Detroit finally broke through after a barrage of shots in the offensive zone when Darren Helm gathered a rebound in the slot and beat Rask to tie the game at 3-3 with 3:42 remaining. The Bruins were forced to use their timeout with 2:13 left to play as Detroit continued to apply pressure and Boston was forced to take an icing with tired skaters on the ice. Rask made his biggest save of the night as he saved the game with a beautiful pad save on Riley Sheahan with 23 seconds remaining and the game would go to overtime tied 3-3. Datsyuk was called for tripping with 3:48 left in OT and the Bruins would go on a 4 on 3 powerplay with a chance to steal a victory but the Red Wings did a good job on the penalty kill. The Red Wings got the game winner when Gustav Nyquist took a pass at center ice with speed, entered the Bruins zone and used Adam McQuaid as a screen as he went inside out on McQuaid and fired wrist shot that Rask never saw until it was too late and the puck beat him five hole to give Detroit a thrilling 4-3 overtime victory to hand the Bruins their first loss of the season.

                            * The Red Wings dominated this game and really deserved the victory. Tuukka Rask was outstanding and was the only reason this game went to overtime and the Bruins didn't get blown out.

                            * Detroit dominated the faceoff dot winning 25 of 34 draws

                            * The Bruins 4th line of Paille-Cunningham-Robins were all -3 on the night

                            * LOVE the way these sliders are playing right now. I'll probably get to the at least the 10 game mark and if I'm happy with the sliders and don't feel any adjustments are necessary - I will restart my official Franchise. Actually, I'll wait until the roster update comes out before I restart.

                            * Patrice Bergeron was diagnosed with a mild concussion after the game (He wasn't injured during the game which was odd). The Bruins will recall 21 yr old center/winger Seth Griffith from Providence of the AHL to make his NHL debut tomorrow night in Montreal

                            * The Bruins will insert defenseman Matt Bartkowski in to the lineup tomorrow night in Montreal as the Bruins play back to back games and Kevan Miller will be the healthy scratch.

                            * The Bruins will be in action again tomorrow night as they travel to Montreal for a showdown with their hated rival who knocked Boston out of the playoffs last year and will have their work cut out for them without Bergeron, Campbell and Spooner in the lineup and will need a complete team effort if they want to come away with a victory

                              TNK - BRUINS TEST FRANCHISE

Game #6 of The Season - Boston Bruins @ Montreal Canadiens

The Canadiens dominated play from the opening faceoff against a Bruins team who is missing Patrice Bergeron from the linuep but the Bruins managed to get themselves a 4-2 lead midway through the 2nd period before Montreal's speed took over the game and cut the lead to 4-3 at the end of the 2nd period. It was all Montreal in the 3rd period as Pacioretty tied the game with just over 9:00 remaining and Prust finished off a flurry to give the Canadiens a 5-4 lead with 6:31 left in regulation. The Bruins team showed guts and kept battling and the hard work paid off when Seth Grifftith threaded a beautiful pass to Reilly Smith in the slot who snapped home the game tying goal to knot things up at 5-5 with 3:30 remaining. The Bruins would go on the powerplay with just over 3:00 left and then Jared Tinordi would be called for a hook with 2:44 to play giving Boston an extended 5 on 3 advantage. The Bruins powerplay was sloppy at first but they finally got setup in the offensive zone working the puck high low high low and Smith hit Marchand with a cross crease bullet pass and Marchand fired it past Price for his 3rd goal of the game to give the Bruins the 6-5 lead with 1:13 remaining in regulation. Matt Bartkowski added an empty netter in the final seconds to give the Bruins a huge 7-5 victory in Montreal.

                              * The Bruins win a thriller 7-5 in Montreal in a wide open back and forth affair......lots of mistakes and defensive breakdowns were made by both teams and although the Bruins will take the win, there's a lot of things they have to clean up.

                              * Brad Marchand recorded a hat trick for Boston with an assist and his linemate Reilly Smith had 1 goals & 4 assists as both players stepped up huge without their center Patrice Bergeron who is injured

                              * Seth Griffith made his NHL debut centering the 2nd line in place of Patrice Bergeron and filled in tremendously recording 4 assists in his first game.

                              * The Bruins sent Craig Cunningham down to Providence of the AHL after the game despite as Ryan Spooner will return to the lineup in the Bruins next game in Buffalo and center the 2nd line. Griffith will move down to center the 4th line until Patrice Bergeron returns

                              * PA Parenteau had a big night recording 5 assist for Montreal

                              * Tuukka Rask was under siege the entire game as Montreal fired 50 shots on net with Rask turning away 45 of them.
