Timed out due to network error

Is anybody else getting this? I've had games play smooth against a user and then we try round #2 and it's terribly laggy.

I know what everyone is going to say: go hard wired, not wireless. It's a super annoying task for my setup and I want that to be the last resort, so please don't offer that as a suggestion.

I'm running wireless right now and when I test on the PS4 I have a 7.8MB download and 1.8MB upload. I've played way too many hours of BF4 online with 64-man conquest on EA servers and I haven't had any issues on my end.

I've opened my ports on my router which are advised by EA

I attached an image that shows how I set up my Belkin router information and the IP address is the correct one for my PS4.

I just don't get why I would have these issues, does anybody have advice on how to correct my wireless issues?

I think your problem lies within your modem. Few months ago id get kicked for having network timeouts. Called up support, opened all the nessesary ports and yadda, yadda ,yadda still getting timed out. Couldnt even make it past the 1st quarter. Last resort decided to go to walmart and try a new modem just to see, even tho mine was only 4 yrs old. Bada bing bada boom, been running smooth ever since. Maybe yours just took a crap. Wouldnt hurt to try

I just booted up my PS4 and I am having trouble log on to EA's servers for Madden 15

Having the same problems. Trying to get into Ultimate Team and getting "EA servers are not available at this time."

I also experienced these login issues for madden. It started about an hour ago for me.

Ok just to state my issue again and how it was "fixed":

I was having no issues playing people except ONE person. I could join online ranked, MUT, play CFM, play friends...so it wasn't my connection. All ports were opened up like M15 requires...basically I did everything that EA asked and I searched everywhere for a solution.

I still had no luck being Type 2 hardwired with all these "fixes" in place.

Well I went with my final try:

Step 1: unplug modem from the router
Step 2: reboot my modem
Step 3: connect modem straight to PS4

This game me Type 1 NAT

I was finally able to get into the game with this person. There must have been an issue with our routers connecting to each other.

We then played 99% of the game before I got the network error again, but at least we were able to get that far. I'm tired of the "network timeout error". There was rather minimal lag for an online game and I think it's such a copout. Neither team was taking on delay of game or false start penalties to trigger such a message. Then to have it go down with under 1 minute left was frustrating, but it was only a preseason game.

So at least I know how to get past this issue versus this ONE user. Such a pain in the rear to move the PS4 to another room and then I lose internet for everything else in the house.

The fiancee isn't going to be happy when we play in the regular season...
