It would be really disappointing if this is not in the game....

Re: Custom Sounds For NHL 15???
That is correct. Also, i believe in the AMA with Rammer, he said the ability to even add custom music was left out this year. So even if Sony patches the ability to add/play mp3's to the ps4....it wont matter because EA left it out anyways.Go Cardinals

Re: Custom Sounds For NHL 15???
Hopefully this makes a return in NHL 16 because it will be tough enough to last a year with 15's horrid soundtrackComment

Re: Custom Sounds For NHL 15???
What makes the NHL 15 soundtrack so horrid anyway? What makes a soundtrack good anyway?
I think we can all last through this drought without custom music.Comment

Re: Custom Sounds For NHL 15???
Custom sounds makes the game 100% more authentic with arena specific music during off play.
Will stick with 14...thank-you very much.Comment

Re: Custom Sounds For NHL 15???
It's really just the way stuff was ordered on the PS3 is what probably made the process so long. It'd be cool if there was a way where you could make a playlist for each team where you can put in all the sounds in them, and based on how a sound's tags are set, it would place them in the right areas of the custom music selections. If you're stuck on that, here's that in more depth:
- On computer, edit tags of sounds so that they'd be unique. (Editing the artist or genre tag to be what the sound actually is, be it a goal horn, off play song, goal song that plays after, intro, etc.
- Once finished, put these sounds into a folder.
- Put the folder onto an external flash drive which you would then be able to put into your PS3/XBOX (PS4/XBone in the future hopefully)
- Turn on game console, add the files to the console's memory, and make a playlist of all of those songs.
- Start up NHL, go to the custom music section, and then choose the option where it will read the playlist and put the sounds from that playlist into their custom music sections.
Besides the last bullet, this is basically how you do off plays since they're all just random 20 second clips. For other sounds (on the PS3), you have to do the first bullet and then when I go into NHL, I have to search the sounds by those terms I edited, be it Artist, Genre, Album, etc. I bet there could be even a better way to do this, or maybe in probably NHL 20, we might not even have to do this if EA would finally have most of the authenticity down sound wise. Probably by NHL 30, they might even implement each arena's unique thing like "The Towel Man" here in Scottrade where a guy waves a towel, yells out the score along with the crowd and some bell that sounds after said score, and then throws said towel somewhere to the crowd. Perhaps they might even have the Octopus in Detroit in there, too.Comment

Re: Custom Sounds For NHL 15???
edit: you can also mass edit all the custom music on your PC to raise the DB levels but not too high or you might get distortion. then re-copy onto your ps3.Comment

Re: Custom Sounds For NHL 15???
Custom music for me has been fine. Main menu is only thing that's too low, even with max main menu volume, those sounds are low(though regular menu music is louder).
Goal songs and stuff work fine, but maybe just try adjusting goal horn volume in the menu to max and see if that helps.
Also....looks like the win music works this year! It's randomly worked in past years games, but this year it works after every win. Despite some of things people have complained about in NHL series, at least the custom sounds options are still as good as ever. They change the game way more than custom sounds in any other sports game.Comment
