Today, July 7, 2014, would have been Release Date Eve

The final (so far as we now know) version of NCAA Football was released on Tuesday, July 9, 2013.

Let's talk about our feelings. I've bought the game every year since 1998. I'm not sure what I will do tomorrow as commemoration. Any ideas?

Here is my schedule for the release day that wasnt...

    8:00 AM. Wake up
    8:10 Shower
    8:11 Cry in shower
9:00 Pull myself together and get out of the shower
9:02 Break down and cry in the bathroom in the fetal position
11:30 Drive to gamestop and ask if they have NCAA 15, When they say no, dramatically jump through the glass window and go to the car to cry some more
12:30 PM Cry myself into a vegetative state for one calendar year and awaken in time for next years release

I don't know, I usually take the Tuesday off or put in for a 1/2 day the day NCAA is released. I have done this every year for the past 5 years. I still have NCAA 14 that I play and enjoy and its the only reason I have kept my PS3.

Hopefully in the not so distant future NCAA will be released again.

It's a sad day, but life goes on. We still have '14 to hold us over, it's a great game.

I'm looking forward to starting up a new franchise in the coming days/weeks and enjoying NCAA Football in July like I do every year.

I plan to create a Team Builder team and use some updated rosters and just roll through a dynasty like its a brand new game... pathetic I know...

i'm going to be honest, get a USB drive and use the dynasty editor, it makes a mediocre game (NCAA 14) great. sure you don't get the playoff presentation (let's be honest how superificial would it have been) nor the Camelia Bowl, but you get a customizable, nuts and bolts CFB game

I'm actually not all that upset. I'm enjoying the game with a great group of coaches in the supporters league. On year 6 and have had 3 or 4 different national champs and we are still going strong. At least EA left us with an enjoyable game

Yep, NCAA 14 is the best NCAA football game since NCAA 2004.

Its a solid game. I'm going to enjoy it through this upcoming season (at least).

Ah yes I figured there would be a post about this. Nothing like this first time playing the new NCAA. I started on the annual train in 2005 and will keep every copy.

Sadly, my love for college football is waning because of this. Never realized how much I actually learned from annual rosters and what not. Very unfortunate that we never got a taste of next gen college football. As others have said, NCAA 14 will suffice for the foreseeable future. I pray that someday NCAA Football is resurrected.
