2014 World Cup Squads - Day 1

The squad file for XBOX 360 includes updated 23 man squads for all World Cup teams, the Starting 11 for each team's first game, and correct (or very close approximations) for the starting formations of each team's first game as shown on Sky Sports and ESPN websites. Obviously beyond the first game things may change but the teams are all set for the first game.
I do not have a PS3 version of this file.

INSTALLATION:
Use the same save rehash/resign process as with other games through CONcept or Modio and XTAF Xplorer.

AVOID CPU REORDERING SQUADS IN WORLD CUP MODE:
I wrote a post on how to avoid this.
Essentially, in order to ensure that the CPU doesn't reorder all the squads, you have to control all the teams and sim each game by pressing 'A' or 'X' until you get to the team you want to play.

Ohh... ok. I didn't know that was a problem. I feel like I always rename my files but maybe not. I'll get the original.

No problem. I figured others might find it useful. The only thing you may want to change is changing Sirigu for Buffon on Italy. I left Sirigu on the squad because he played the first match but didn't play again when Buffon came back from injury.
Personally, I can't imagine why Italy played Buffon when Sirigu is so great with PSG but I'm not a coach so what do I know.

Does changing the 23 man squads in team management before you play a world cup prevent the AI from randomly selecting 23 players - some of which who aren't part of the official world cup rosters? Or does the CPU still select players that aren't in your desired 23 man squads?

Omg mate your a life save I havent downloaded it yet but I want to ask if your still there does it have ozil and mueller also ronaldinho in the reserves thanks!


Edit man I'm upset I didnt realize this was for 2014 still I downloaded it if you have it plz upload the 2010 world cup squad updateI cant play without mueller

The servers for the World Cup 2014 went down and I am not able to buy anything from the EAFC catalogue especially the Brazuca Final Rio ball so was hoping to get those items manually if possible via USB if someone who has the game with the items bought or unlocked can copy it to a file for me. Please, I never got the chance to play that game when it was released cause I didn't have money to buy a console. I just bought a xbox 360 and it really hurts a lot the fact that the servers are no longer up.

for anyone looking, i converted this 360 save to ps3


i used horizon to extract the save and transplanted into a ps3 save.



only quickly tested on rpcs3 to confirm if it works.



on argentina, mascherano is default team captain, but with update messi is captain.

Would anyone like the latest official roster update? One that takes place after the end of the World Cup, in this update Neymar has an 88 overall
