S.O.S. Crew - Madden '15 Recruiting Thread (PS4 League)

The S.O.S. Crew is getting an early start to recruiting members for the upcoming Madden '15 PS4 cycle. The main reason for this is due to a lengthy team selection process that will be starting soon.

You can check out our League Forum to get a better idea about the league. Please keep in mind that league rules are going to change with the new game coming out. It doesn't change our league philosophy, however.

A cliff notes version of our league:
- No-switch league with strict rules regulating game exploits
- Those who are sore losers or disrespectful need not apply
- Trading is restricted and contracts require a certain % bonus and we monitor rosters to make sure guys are actively trying to win
- We will have at least two sim seasons during the Madden '15 cycle
- We advance every 72 hours and expect all members to be great at scheduling games
- Those who attempt to "win at all costs" will be weeded out, we want guys who play with integrity no matter what

We are nearly full but still have a few more spots to fill.

I'm excited we have been able to get a few guys new to the Madden community to join our league. The common response I got from these guys was "I was in a 'SIM' Madden league once but it wasn't really sim. When the last minutes of the game rolled around guys would play tourney style Madden and exploit their way to winning. Nobody got disciplined for doing this and it created a league full of exploits."

SOS offers relief from the typical league experience. The ones where the same guys always win. The ones where guys rip off others in trades. The ones where guys exploit the system in any way to gain an advantage.

We are simply different. Positive, mature members. League rules designed to make games fair and eliminate possible exploits. Commissioners who will discipline those who break rules.

If this sounds like something you want to be part of, PM me the questionnaire. It's not a first come first serve league. We will take the guys who fit our league philosophy best.

12. I've taken quote the hiatus from online play but have a lot of experience in online franchises. I'm respectful and can lose with grace as well as win class. I'm a dinosaur, been around since maddenmania, vetzballin, mmwfl, 220, and back when league daddy was first up and operational.

There are currently two spots available in the league. We have several members interested in tryouts at this point and it will be a very, very difficult decision.

At this point we will accept applications only of OS members who are active in the forums or have a great Madden league track record.

We have reached our limit for accepting applications.

The level of interest we've received has been overwhelming and it makes me proud to know that Baughn, Drew, and myself have put together a league with such a great reputation on this awesome website.

If there comes a time we need to look for new members I will bump this thread and re-open the application process.

I appreciate all the interest guys and I sincerely apologize for simply not having enough slots for everyone. I take no joy in turning people away which we've unfortunately had to do way too many times so far.

We've had some great members have to step down before the season started and would like to tryout a guy or two to fill the final spot in our league. Our league has a strong track record of 10 seasons on Operation Sports and we have an amazing core of members who play Madden like football, not a video game. Our league philosophy is to have guys who display class in victory or defeat while running their football team like a real NFL franchise.

We also are starting an awesome Awards system which will reward those who do well on the field as well as those who make the league a better place.

We had a member drop due to his work schedule and need to fill just one spot. Our league has a strong track record of 10 seasons on Operation Sports and we have an amazing core of members who play Madden like football, not a video game. Team available: Oakland Raiders (0-4) | Roster is still in tact but they need some help as they've had a tough schedule through 4 games and are looking for their first victory.

S.O.S. Crew now looking for two new owners

We had a family emergency + a ninja drop hit our league so we're down two men. Our league has a strong track record of 10 seasons on Operation Sports and we have an amazing core of members who play Madden like football, not a video game. Our league philosophy is to have guys who display class in victory or defeat while running their football team like a real NFL franchise.

We also are starting an awesome Awards system which will reward those who do well on the field as well as those who make the league a better place.

Teams available:
Oakland Raiders (2-7) | Roster is still in tact but they need some help as they've had a tough schedule through 4 games and are looking for their first victory.
Arizona Cardinals (5-3) | They are in the thick of things but will likely be 5-4 after a game against a user as CPU. They are still very much alive in the playoff race. Their entire team remains in-tact.

Point in season: Week 10 going into Week 11

We have an amazing group but we have that revolving door issue of about 2-3 guys who join then go MIA or drop or don't follow rules. We are very proud of what we have built and the current state of everything we just want a few long-term members to join us and stick with us for a long time. Our league has a strong track record of 10 seasons on Operation Sports and we have an amazing core of members who play Madden like football, not a video game. Our league philosophy is to have guys who display class in victory or defeat while running their football team like a real NFL franchise.

We also are starting an awesome Awards system which will reward those who do well on the field as well as those who make the league a better place.

Teams available:
Not sure at the moment but I will have a better idea tomorrow. No playoff teams will be available but we will advance to week 16 tonight so you'll have the off season coming up and you can mold your team.

The SOS Crew Bowl XI is going down tonight or tomorrow night and then we'll be in the first off-season. The Raiders will be in solid position to rebuild and have a top 10 draft pick.

I know the PS4 online league area is heavily saturated with leagues but we have a solid track record. This is the clean slate most guys like to start with!

Why would you be a great fit for S.O.S. Crew? I'm a sim player who is easy to contact, I play all of my games no matter how bad my record is. I'm active on the forums, in the chat, and on the game. I've never had a complaint in any of my previous leagues.

Draft is tomorrow night at 930 est. They have the #10 pick and if you get in you have a great shot at molding this roster to what you want!
