I hope to hell this is true!!!!
Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity? This is perhaps one of the most coined catchphrases in gaming over the last 12 months, ever Since Far Cry 3 was released and Vaas Montenegro was introduced to the world in fact.
Ubisoft have already told us that there will be another installment in the Far Cry series after the unprecedented success of Far Cry 3 last year. That installment seems to of gotten one step closer to release today, as a mysterious image of Vass from Far Cry 3 in a padded cell has been released / leaked.
On the cell wall are some of Vass’s saying as well as some very cleverly hidden pieces of information, one of which is a date of 04.04.2014, could this be the release date of Far Cry 4? You can see this next to the “Let’s Play” graffiti under the “Follow Me” writing.
But what could all this signify for Far Cry? If it turns out to be real, this could very well be a prequel to Far Cry 3 and it may show us the origins of Vaas as a madman. Also it could be a continuation of Far Cry 3′s storyline from Vaas’s point of view, for those of you that have already played and finished Far Cry 3 right now you’ll be saying “how is that possible”? Please remember that for half of Far Cry 3 the main protagonist was tripping out of his mind on drugs, so in truth anything is possible in terms of using Vaas as a future character in the franchise.
