    2013 SEC Championship Game.png

Was there a soul on this planet that predicted this matchup in the pre-season?

As everyone knows, the team that has won the SEC Championship Game has went on to play for all the marbles the past seven seasons. We could be looking at that streak ending depending on the outcome of the ACC and Big Ten Championship games. Nonetheless, I see this being an exciting game to watch.

Mizzou's only chance at winning is if James Franklin absolutely goes off and puts forth the individual effort of the year, which is possible. But I'm not liking the chances of that happening. If the Gus Bus has a late lead, he's going to park it and keep Franklin on the sideline.

Missouri can't compete in the almighty SEC.

I hate Mizzou, but if they win the whole thing will be a big joke.

While we need him to have a big day, I have no idea why you think he has to be that good for us to win. We have been a balanced team all season, and managed to win games he left, didn't play in or wasn't particularly great in. And Auburn is a great team that deserves their ranking, but they aren't exactly dominating people either. I'm not sure why we can't win if he has a good/great game, rather than the best individual performance of the year.

There was a touch of hyperbole, but Mizzou doesn't have the supporting cast to hang with AU. You say Mizzou is balanced, that's exactly my point. Late in both the Iron Bowl and UGA, Auburn bowed up sold out to stop the run. He'll, for a stretch of the game they were stonewalling Alabama's line at the least. They're going to put the football in Franklin's hands and make him beat them, much like they did with Murray, Manziel, and McCarron.

Well I guess it's the same game plan that every Auburn opponent has tried. Stop the run stop the run stop run, and make Nick Marshall beat you with his arm. Good luck.

Missouri doesn't have the supporting cast to hang with Auburn? I'm not even sure what you're basing that on. Recruiting stars? Mizzou and Auburn have played 5 of the same teams. Mizzou has won by an average of 17 points and Auburn by an average of 15. The teams are closer than you likely think they are.

And every team has sold out to stop our running game, particularly when Franklin was out. That's nothing new. Auburn is plenty good to slow Mizzou down, but they aren't the Steel Curtain. Or haven't been at least. I think we can win this game if Franklin has 300 total yards and 3 TDs. It would be a great performance, but nothing like a Manziel "Carry the entire team on his back" day. And I could just as easily say the same thing about Marshall.

I'm not trying to convince you Mizzou will definitely win. I'm pretty much 50/50 on this game. I just think your assessment of the Tigers of the East is off.

Calling it now, Missouri has it won, takes a knee too drain the final seconds of the clock, Franklin fumbles the snap auburn scoops and scores to win. Then we get to hear all about how auburn fans don't think they are the luckiest team in the nation.

Seriously though, it wouldn't shock me at all to see this.

Gus has a 4 leaf clover stuck up his rear end.

The ending of the Georgia game was 95% luck. It was not lucky to get 296 rushing yards and make 4th down stops against Bama to put Auburn in a position to win that game.

No, the 110 yard field goal return for a td as time expired was luck, and since it was the play that won the game auburn won on a lucky play.

Don't get me wrong not trying to take anything away from auburn, you guys have a good squad. Played bama hard, deserved to win in my opinion. But the way the last two games were won were just plain old luck, (and a poor choice by saban to not take the game to OT.)
