Next Gen Coach Mode

By all accounts it seems the gameplay in next-gen Madden has improved and added/fixed many things. However, for coach mode players there were always some pretty glaring issues.

My question to other coach mode players is, does next-gen coach mode take advantage of the improved game mechanics? Is coach mode still simply auto-pass, or will mobile quarterbacks scramble like they do in NCAA14?

There have been alot of posts and impressions on the gameplay from a user point of view. I have yet to hear about any coach mode impressions. I play current-gen purely in coach mode and have certain issues with it, namely the read-option not working correctly, and QBs never scrambling. If this is the same thing in next-gen then I may hold off on a next-gen purchase until Madden 15.

CPU quarterbacks scramble. User quarterbacks do not. It is auto pass.

The good news is several developers from NCAA were moved to Madden and I expect this to get fixed.

I like your optimism but I think there will not be a true coach mode in Madden 25. Hopefully moving onto next years version there will be a better implemented coach mode.

I'm still holding out hope for a next-gen NFL Head Coach game.

Dear God, yes. Give the Madden people their Ultimate teams and give us NFL HC 14!
