How can PS3 gamers (U.S.) Upgrade for discount PS4 versions? still very little info.

I think it is pretty straight forward for XBox1 versons. But for the PS3 version, initually it seemed like there wouldn't be a way. Then other PS4 EA games were announced to allow this.

On Madden's official page it says. ok Fake Edit (just checked while making post, weeks ago there was no info). edit2 No wonder "By EA SPORTS Nov 8, 2013" They just put it up yesterday...lol. It seems like its only for Canada. smh.

Gamestop has the trade in thing going on but you had to have bought it from gamestop and they email you a voucher you have to use. I took a picture of the sign. I'll upload it in a minute.

I purchased my game from Best Buy - unless the trade in with them changes by release date of Xbox One I'll be shopping at GameStop from now on..

You might be able to do the digital upgrade through PSN but you need to keep your disc.

no. i just sold my madden on ebay for 32$ thats as best it gets bc ea absolutley screwed ps3 to 4 gamers on this.

correct if u bought madden 25 for ps3 when ps4 come out u supposed to put madden 25 in ps4 and it will allow u to download the ps4 version for 10 bucks my understanding every time u want play it u have put the ps3 disc in ps4 i know saw it on playstation webstie some where i belive

i hate digital so i would never do this but it cheaper then rebuying a brand new ps4 version i already got my madden 25 for ps4 just waiting for the ps4 come out now

Its crazy Battlefield 4 is part of the PS4 digital upgrade. But i see no Madden upgrade. They are both EA games. So why one and not the other.

Bc ea needs to sell madden twice. Also probably has a lot to do with eas partnership with xbox

So is Madden for sure not available for digital- digital upgrade? I can't find it on the PSN to pre order to see a price. I'd like to avoid purchasing again if I can.

I couldn't find a way to upgrade PS3 Madden. Gamestop (where I bought it) said 360 only. I ended up trading it in at Best Buy for $32.
