I didn't know if anyone would be interested, but I wanted to share this just in case--especially since college basketball starts this week. In addition to my Completed Historic Teams roster file,

North Carolina, Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, and UCLA teams created as close to their real life counterparts as possible for a rivalry series.

* Teams were given their most recent players/starting lineups as possible without using CAPs (all NBA players) and not their best starting lineup. For example, Marshall, Barnes, Henson, and Zeller--the 2012 Tar Heels--start for UNC and not Lawson, Ellington, Green, and Hansbrough, nor a mixture of the talent.

* I used Ben Howland as the name of UCLA's coach since he coached (most or all of) the players on the Bruins Create-A-Team; and I used Jim Calhoun's name for the UConn squad for the same reason.

* Players have their collegiate numbers and accessories. There are some duplicate numbers to ensure players have their college number, and players wear the shoes of their college--even if they were locked into a shoe brand. The only shoes that may not show up for you are my created Jordan Brand shoes for UNC.

Actually, I did it just for myself to hold me over until someone ports over your College Hoops Legacy series; but I thought it might not get ported over, so why not share this with others. But I'm hoping someone can bring your work to us PS3 users.

By the way, I found that the baggy parab jerseys look better on UNC and Duke than the baggy V jerseys if that helps you guys any with your project.

I didn't know if anyone was interested, but I can upload it tomorrow night if you are. Just let me know.

The teams look as good as you can get them; I looked at images of every single player to get the correct gear and accessories, and used the roster editor to 1) give the players their collegiate number even if someone else has the duplicate number, and 2) to give players the shoe brand of their college even if they could only wear another brand.

I would like to add two more teams because I can do the Ohio State University, but their rival Michigan doesn't have enough players--even if I use Rose (my created 98 Pacers), Webber (02 Kings), and Howard (13 Heat) from the Fab 5. Plus, the point of the roster wasn't really to create an all star alumni team, but instead I wanted to create teams with players who actually played together--especially recently. Let me know if you want it uploaded.

Geez--I forgot all about UConn. Even though it's called a rivalry series, the teams featured don't really need a rival so I'm game for just about any squad. I wish I knew when 2K Share was going down (somebody said the first of this month) because I'd like any one interested to download this roster with 5 teams, then maybe I could add more and post an offline file.

I downloaded it (great job by you and your team) but some things were off--I figured it was due to porting it over (like a "lost in translation" kind of deal). I know you guys used cyber faces, but all the CAPs had generic faces. And I heard there was a red shoe bug issue when porting (but pmyers eliminated that by getting rid of created shoes), but UNC had red as one of their court colors. I think what happened is that you guys did everything right but some things were changed due to it being ported? I don't know for sure.....

Not much in the way of feedback I can give you--it looked good to me! I'd give UNC the baggy parab jerseys, and this is entirely up to you guys but in my rivalry series roster, I have the players wearing their collegiate number; I think I saw Ty Lawson wearing #3 if I recall. First off...glad you are looking in the same direction...it will help us get ideas on achieving authenticity

I will definitely look at the parab jerseys. As far as the demo goes, there should not have been any generic faces...but I noticed I missed at least one. (Marty Clark for Duke.) If the head shape data didn't get moved over that would explain it.

We hurried the demo out thinking 2kshare was going down...so I threw together a generic arena. I am brainstorming other ways to do arenas since the CaT jerseys throw the colors off.

We only use CF look a likes when it makes sense. Will be using Holiday for Black btw... I just finished 83 Houston, 83 NC State, 76 Indiana, 67 UCLA and have NO look a likes with exception of actual players such as Walton, Olajuwon, Alcindor, etc.

The shoe issue is quite a pain.

I'm not home now but with the uncertainty of when 2K Share for 2K13 will be down, I'm going to upload the 5 teams already done. However, I looked up a website that has colleges with the number of current NBA players each has, and UConn has enough so I'll add the Huskies. I could possibly do the Ohio State University but I think I would have to add some older players so they won't be current like the other squads. But speaking of older players, I wish I could add Georgetown since I will be adding UConn; I could be wrong about this but I thought Iverson had his old cyber face on the disc; it would be tempting if I had enough Hoyas to see Iverson wearing the Jordan XIs like he did at Georgetown (since the roster editor will allow me to let him wear shoes other than Reeboks).
