Has there been any talk of what we're looking at for load times for NHL 14? NHL 13 was painfully slow. Or are people simply going to have to wait until NHL 15 when it takes advantage of the processers in the next gen systems?

I was wondering the same thing.

I've bought NHL on the 360 every year its come out.

My 360 died a few months back, and I don't feel like buying a new one with the next gen systems right around the corner. I purchased NHL 13 for PS3, and its insane how long the load times are when compared to the 360 version.
I consider myself a fairly patient person, but its unbearable at times how long it takes to load things.

Just curious if this has always been the case?

Am I the only one who didn't notice anything out of the ordinary about load times in NHL 13? Loaded about as quickly as any other sports game I've played...

On PS3, I could bear with the menu load times.

But one reason why I don't play Be A GM is because of simulation load times litterally take 5 minutes for a week worth of simulation.

Maybe once in a while when loading an EASHL drop in games. But maybe that happens once in 10-15 games (after everyone selects their position).

i have a PS3 but many of my friends have Xbox and they say that they have experienced the same problem with NHL13

Long loading times on the PS3 had to do with the fact that the game was ported over from the Xbox360 version. I assume NHL 14 will suffer from this as well but nextgen consoles should offer a relief since it'll be much easier to port games on them, something to do with the similar processor architecture I think, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
