    Vs. Binghamton (Home)
    65-63 L 0-1 (0-0)

Was down 12 going into the half! It was just a poor shooting performance by us. We shot 6-27 from the 3pt line. Taking that many threes and missing them leads to long rebounds and fast break points for the other team. We have to be smarter on the shot selection! We also missed 8 free throws. We have to generate shots for our guys. Only had 8 assists in the game so that tells me we don’t move the ball well. SG #1 was our best player over all tonight with 9 points and 9 rebounds.

Well we got into foul trouble this game. We led at the half 39-31 and we should of kept it rolling. We only scored 25 in the second half and gave up 39. Very unacceptable for us. We allowed NH to have 29 free throws and when a team has 16 more free throws then you it kind of makes it hard for you no matter what. Good game by two players tonight for us. PF #33 had 12 points and 9 boards and then our sophomore SG #5 added 15 points for us of the bench. Still not satisfied with how we are playing.

    Game Three November13th,2007
    Vs Morehead St (AWAY)
    63-61 W 1-2 (0-0)

Well we finally did it! We got our first win and I am pretty pumped. Really the only stats we won were the Turnover stat +5 and we made 3 more free throws. This game looks like it could have gone either way, but we fought back. We were down by 5 going into the locker room at the half. Three players in double figures for scoring PG #15 (10) SF #32 (12) PF#24 (12) and also had 9 boards!

    Game four November 20th, 2007
    Vs. Eastern Illinois (Home)
    64-44 W 2-2 (0-0)

So even though we won this game by twenty points it still was an ugly game for us. Seems impossible right? Let me throw some stats your way. 16-53 from the field 1-16 from 3pt and only out rebounded them by one…. How did we win you ask? Oh we went 31-42 from the free throw. Yea that’s not a misprint. Three guys in double figures again… SG #1 (18) SF #32 (10) and PF#33 (11).

    Game Five November 25th, 2007
    Vs Missouri (Away)
    77-62 L 2-3 (0-0)

Well we shot over 50% for the first time this season so you would think we would have won right? Nope we lost because of turnovers…. You can not win a game when you give up 28 turnovers.. How is their enough time to give up that many anyways!?!?! I am just disgusted with the team this game… We would have been in the ball game if it wasn’t for those mistakes! SG #1 (10) with 9 rebounds and SF # 32 (17).

    Game Six November 28th, 2007
    Vs UT Pan American (Home)
    74-60 L 2-4 (0-0)

Just nothing we could do this game. We were out shot, out rebounded, and out hustled. Lack if effort from our guys tonight. I have noticed a trend that we have. It is we always get behind at the half. I don’t know why that is but its really frustrating. SG #23 had 23 points and was the only main guy for us!

    Game Seven December 1st 2007
    Vs UT-Arlington (Away)
    80-66 L 2-5 (0-0)

We lost this game cause of turnovers…. You will never win a game with 20+ turnovers. Hell we shot 35-47 from the free throw line! They wanted to give us this game but what do we do?? We just had the ball back to them and say hey here you go! SG #1 had 17 points and 7 boards… Also PF #24 had 10 points and 6 boards.

    Game Eight December 3rd 2007
    Vs UT Pan American (Away)
    61-49 L 2-6 (0-0)

They once again handed the ball to the other team like they were giving free samples at a grocery store! 22 turnovers… We also fouled them way to many times and let them go 18-26 from the free throw line! This is just ridiculous and I can’t stand it! SG #1 had 18 points and 9 boards showing why he is a Senior leader!

We were just man handled down low giving up 37 boards compared to our 24 and we shot around 30% from the field. This team just needs more then one player to step up! SG #1 can’t do all the work. He is doing well with the scoring load, but more people have to get involved. SG #1 had 18 points!
