WWE 12 | So disapponted with the gamplay

I just had to get this off my chest but I am so disappointed with the gameplay of WWE 12.

The graphics are amazing, Universe is amazing, all the damn features are amazing. But the gameplay is a joke! But never judge a book by it's cover.....

I can't stand wresting games which involve no strategy. This game has no stamina bar. If you want to understand the concept of a stamina try playing EA Fight Night Champions. Basically as the match progresses, you have to be efficient therefore effective with how you fight your opponent. If you just go out and whale away you will be dead tired and get knocked out. Basically having a stamina bar is a anti-spam instrument. It also adds to the realism of the game. When I play WWE 12 i can easily spam off moves with no repercussions. The game was designed for a low iq player.

On to my next gripe. If my finisher is reversed, I still have my finisher! I can have my finisher reversed 3x in a row and I still have access to it immediately. Too me this just kills the realism. I think if your finisher is reversed you should lose it because you spent it! Or at least lose access to the finisher because it goes into storage........

I can't play WWE 12 anyone. It has no replay value. I need to find a really good N64 emulator. It's too bad Fire Pro doesn't have a career/story mode or have wrestlers walking to the ring with the belts.

Well I finally got my hands on Project64 and played No Mercy with my PS3 controller. It is so unbelievable a game from 2000 is still better than all the recent offerings such as WWE 12 or WWE 13.

For the first time in a month I had a meaningful match against the cpu. A match where for (1) there were no chessy pins....

What I noticed about the AKI engine is it's ability to pull off combinations between moves. I think this creates an effect of being able to smoothly transition from move to move. As well the use of multiple diagnostic bars during the game which adds to the realism and works as anti-spam vehicles.

I am not going to go into further details. Too many details about this game that puts WWE 12 or 13 to shame. I have no clue why wrestling games nearly 13 years later can't get the formula right.... And best of all there is a huge mod community for the game - I get to play it with the WWE 13 roster LoL.

Something tells me the reason why AKI made such a great was because the developers and analyst that worked on the game are actually wrestler fans.

HOLY CRAP!!! I just downloaded this on my mediocre laptop and its awesome. I downloaded WM200, WCW/NWO Revenge, and No Mercy...

Yeah I KNOW!! Basically any computer i would say running on at least a duo core 2 can run Project64 perfectly. Good riddance to WWE 12 WWE 13!

Be careful with advertising emulaters here as they are not legal. Not that they are not good just saying. I Finally got fed up of WWE 13 moving on till 14 comes out now. Too much glitches and stuff .
