Mariano Rivera terrible in this game??

Anyone else find Mariano Rivera to be terrible in this game?

I can pitch well all game in my franchise, bring him in, and he gets hammered. Blows almost every save. Seems like so many of his pitches miss middle and always result in HRs...

I'm doing franchise mode with the Dodgers, and the one time I faced him, his pitches felt like BP fastballs because he lost so much velocity from the preseason progression (pre-patch of course).

He plays for the Yankees therefore he is the devil and is garbage and should go have a seat in the corner. I jest...but seriously I hate the Yankees.

Well I mean he is how old and just missed a whole season?! He should've hung up the cleats in my opinion

I don't play with the Yankees but his sim stats seem to be fine if not too fine. I'm in a franchise, about 21 games in and I see he is leading the league in saves with 12.

This would translate well into real life as Rivera just isn't the same closer that he was years ago. I've seen several times in the past few years where he's been knocked around quite a bit.

I have had zero trouble with using Rivera. He is still one of the best closers in the league both in the game and in real life.

Not to be rude but is/was. We have yet to see how he'll be this year
