    RTTS Base Running

Call me dumb & dumber but how the heck do you run? Every time I get on base in my RTTS some one makes a liner I run for 2nd base and the dam camera changes view and my guy then trys to run back to first .. then the camera will change again and then back to 2nd on over and over real fast until I am tagged out. Same crap some times when I hit a single my guy just rounds 1st for no reason to 2nd and then i try to get him back to 1st and it starts tripping back and forth with camera and trying use Toggle R1 for running. I have tried classic and default same garbage. Is there something I am missing? I about fedup already with show just because of the base running. Bought this game for past 3-4 years and always just had RTTS skip my base running

    thanks

Use the default settings, there will be an icon representing your Left stick. It's as easy as pressing up to advance and down to go back. When using default, it doesn't matter if the camera changes because up is always advance and down is always go back......... one thing I do is change the view... as soon as the ball is in play i hold down the L2 button. that changes to the broadcast view. You will be able to see the whole field and it will make your decisions easier.

"New" is UP=run forward, DOWN=run back.

It takes some getting used to if you're used to pointing the stick towards the base (the way it was before) but once you get used to it you don't have to worry about the camera changing angles messing you up.

For some reason I'm still having difficulty. I see the up and down arrows and they turn green when I press in the direction but doesn't always register. Do I need to HOLD up or down for baserunning?

Also, sometimes when I hit the triggers buttons (I use vita btw) it shows like a green line to the next base. Is this a way to preload running as well?

Yes, hold the stick in the direction.

THANK YOU!! I've been suffering the same fate as the OP where the camera rotates and changes the running direction.

What I do is just wait until the camera turns before I start holding the stick. Your player automatically takes an initial run towards the next base (like how fielders automatically step), you really don't need to press anything until a few seconds after contact. So I just don't press anything at first and the problem is avoided.

I'm probably not explaining myself properly, but just try it and you'll see what I mean.
