    Freezing/corrupted offline CCM files

So I was three seasons deep in my offline ccm and had been playing it for weeks with no issues. Then last night I went to load it and once it said it was loaded, the whole system froze. I tried it both with resuming and with loading it from the list of all files. Tried it many times with the same results. I looked around to see if anyone had any issues but most of the freezing came randomly. I still tried all the things such as saving it to my hard drive and erasing the system cache to no avail. I also tried to load other careers to see if it was a limited issue and it said they were corrupted and couldn't be loaded. I finally gave up and started a new one earlier today. I simulated through the first season and did the draft and all that and was quite happy with it. So I saved it to play later. Just tried playing it and now it says THAT file is corrupted! I need to know what is causing these issues because I love this game but I won't keep wasting my time on it of my careers just stop working randomly. And no, online ccm is not an option for me at the moment. Thanks for any help.

Now every single time I start a new ccm and save the file gets corrupted. This is really annoying.

How many Madden 13 save files do you have on your hard drive?

Just the latest patch now. I deleted all other files to see if it'd help and it didn't. I didn't delete the patch because I currently don't have Internet access for my Xbox and didn't wanna lose it.

No, what I mean is how many ccm saves do you have? I can't recall which EA game it was a year or 2 back, but if people were carrying a lot of different quick saves and franchise saves it was causing freezes when loading.

I have none. I deleted them all then tested out to see if it would still corrupt the new one and it did every time. So currently no ccm saves.

                Re: Freezing/corrupted offline CCM files

Did you do ANY edits to ANY player?

I've read that that has been a culprit, so as tempting as it is...I don't

Other than that, since no one else is having the problem to your extent, I wonder if it's something as simple as a faulty disc or needing to clean install the PS3 or just use a blue ray cleaner to at least clean the heads...

                Is it PS3?

I'd consider calling tech support for your system's manufacturer and see what they say...

But, likely they'd suggest wiping the whole system back to out of the box...

I think you can save files to a jump drive before clean install...

                Good luck!

I feel your pain...I'm just starting 2013 and I had a couple lock ups when trying to access the scheme screens for teams with HCs in transition from team to team...

Thankfully, I just had to force quit and my CCM files were still fine (multiple saves)

No it's a 360. I didn't edit any players either. I even got to the point where I would just start a new ccm, go into the start of a season and save to see if it still did it and it did.

Try other games, if they work it's the disc and not the console?

                    Corrupted roster?

                    This is a weird one...

Wish I could be of more help...but...that's unfortunately all I've got...

Does anybody know how the email address or how to get ahold of a EA support person? I've looked but only found the forum and it hasn't helped.

No you're not the only one. I've tried everything, unfixable. Google it and you'll see tons of other people have had this problem without any fix.

Not sure if related, if i manually change the depth chart in offline ccm, and then press the circle button to come out of it my PS3 crashes. I just think that CCM is a little unstable sometimes
