Yeah I have had that problem with some pictures as well. I would say for best results a good camera with good lighting would be the only solution I can think of

You have to go to 'Start' under the Edit Game Face option and click the Football icon.

I use a Canon. You take a front pic of your face, then a profile and the site does all the work and steps for you. It's pretty damn cool.

You don't need a certain kind, it's just the better the camera the better the results

I did my gameface weeks ago, using my iPod touch 4G camera and it came out very accurate. I am very happy with it.

I had a feeling the madden avatar thing would be up soon since it is only 2 weeks before release. I been already did mine. But I just added the football uniform, and I am happy with the results. It looks like me. The only thing is that since I have thin eyebrows, they came out greyish. But, I can deal with it.

Cant wait to upload it when I do my CCM

I had good results using my laptop's camera. The first couple of tries I just did the front shot, but adding in the side shot did wonders. Also, you can still go in and fine tune your face shape by making minor adjustments.
