Yeah they did in the Legends webcast 3 weeks ago. Super Bowl Presentation has some new stuff.

Man I really have such a passion for NFL gaming and I wish there was some way for the community to have a strong input on the "extras" like this. These are the things where I feel the communities and devs artistic imagination should be allowed to run wild.

I am all for an authentic trophy presentation and what not but I always thought it also would be sweet to have a season long video montage for the Super Bowl winner. I don't know exactly how they could do it but considering the memory storage space of the current consoles hard drives, it would be cool if the game would somehow save scenes from each User game and compile them into a season video montage if you win the Super Bowl, with various descriptive visual overlay and a musical score playing in the background.

Something like that would make every Super Bowl win feel unique and I know I would watch the entire thing, feeling a sense of accomplishment even though it's just a video game.

I try not to repeat myself but I would love if they added a opening kickoff celebration and lowering of the banner for the super bowl champs the following season.

I thought the M12 post super bowl was great, EA usually does a good job with this it the commentary and the in game action that was the problem with the sb to me.

I know but they could have done a little better than that.

They need an animation for when you go 16-0 or commentary line for when you repeat as a champ.

- If winning ability to take knee and start the celebration as clock runs out.

But if they added legends bringing trophy that is nice. Happy to see they are adding stuff to this.

I always thought it would be cool to have a "play selection" for end of game kneel that was much more fluid than what these games do now.

For instance: in situations where there is less time left on the game clock than # of plays to end the game and the losing team is out of TOs, there would be a cutscene of the winning team running the clock out with guys from each team shaking hands, etc. and even the coaches running out to the field to shake hands while the final seconds tick off.

If possible, they could even keep it in real-time and it would be a good chance for the commentary to summarize the game, maybe even showing some highlights in between plays and doing special close ups of the players of the game, etc. Just something different to end the game and give it a more authentic feel.

Bringing it back on-topic.. they could do a multiple "end game kneel" scenarios with special commentary, etc. for divisional games, rivalry games, playoff games, and the Super Bowl. End of game celebrations/cutscenes have always come up short in video games, in my opinion. I think this would be a great way for the EA teams (Madden and NCAA) to get a leg up and pave the way when it comes to presentation.

Special commentary lines for when the teams where last at a super bowl (if ever) who they played, if they won, long playoff/super bowl droughts, super bowl rivalries etc. would be nice.

Something similar was in NHL 2004, where the game would play a song and "review" each player's season stats. It wasn't a recap, but it was pretty awesome nonetheless (watch from 1:55 on):

Again, EA Canada's NHL series had this for years last-gen and finally added it back this generation. Very surprised Madden hasn't taken a cue yet. Not like it hasn't been done before...
