Will NBA Live 13 come out at all?

I wonder do you all think NBA Live 13 will even materialize? I have seen advertisement for 2K13, cover reveal, even some slight gameplay....I've seen EA's Hockey series NHL 13 come out and release info..etc etc.

No sign of life for NBA Live 13...no cover announcements...no sizzle trailer after 2years off proclaiming their return...no real game info at all. We are in July/August and EA has not even had an article in Game Informer on NBA Live....something is not right...and I am wondering if they will permanently cancel the series...what do you think?

yes NBA Live 13 will be released the game is scheduled for October.

I'm playing the waiting game EA Sports knows they can't piss off fans with NBA Live 13 they have no room for error. I'm confident that they will deliver a solid game that can continue to improve on a yearly basis.

No Season Ticket for this year either...I'm really hoping that EA makes a decent game this year, but it getting to the point where its hard to continue to wait for this series to get back on track with their never ending cycles of "3 year plan" rhetoric. Please prove me wrong this time Tiburon, I want to be a fan again

Live 13 was NOT on Game Informers Fall release schedule...NBA 2K13 was....I'm starting to doubt there will be an NBA Live game for a 3rd straight year.

Wouldn't be surprised to see them just kill off this generation of Live entirely, which is probably what they should have done in the first place after the Elite nonsense.

Just build a game for the next set of systems and (hopefully) come back as strong as possible.

This is rather unusual for EA to be this hush mouth on there games, normally we would have a ton more info than what he have currently but in that same breath it is still kind of early so I'd give it till about the middle of the month to late this month before we get more info about the game.

I think the NBA Live team is trying to do more Walking than Talking this year.

The tables have turned a lil bit because i remember when it was 2k keeping quiet until late and NBA Live advertising everything. 2k's advertised more than i've ever seen in this year, while Live's been the quietest i've seen.

It's safe to say that Live 13 will be released this year. EA knows it is an uphill battle. Andrew Wilson said they will be paying close attention to feedback to improve the next iterations of Live.

I checked on Gamefly , and it is available to rent but the date is now 10/31/12.

I will be honest and say im not very confident it will be released. I really do hope it is, but this is way too quite for a title that has been in the works for over 2 years.

What also made me feel this way is what they showed on E3. They barely showed anything, and for what they showed no one was impressed. After 2 years and you could not show full gameplay???? It just doesnt sit well with me

Well all we can do now is hope.
