What year did the Spring Drills get phased out?

I was watching my sons pay an old Gamecube version of Madden that had the same drills in it. I'm pretty sure that the feature did not make it to the PS3 platform for either game.

The Spring Drills was a great part of Dynasty mode that REALLY should be looked into being brought back for '14. You really had to spend some time thinking about what player to run the the Tackling, Rushing Attack or D Linemen drills.

Actually Xbox did have Spring Drills I remember NCAA 08 old generation xbox. I still play it all the time.

I think they got phased out in new generation. I faintly remember playing NCAA 08 on PS2 and I believe it still had the spring game and spring drills.

Well it never made it to next gen, another thing EA took out for no reason.

I don't remember NCAA ever having drills. I remember it having the Spring Game in dynasty mode, however.

They started in 08 I believe for PS2
