Ugh, I know this is probably against the rules and what not, but I want to rant. This is pretty much the only time I'll ever rant about online play...

Just quit a game in the 3rd playing against a kid called Rubbish 2k12net who cheesed 24/7 with the Heat. I was down 45-32 or something but couldn't handle the cringe worthy moments in the game. Not only did he attempt all 16 shots in the 1st quarter with LeBron and Wade, but any time he missed, guys like Mike Miller and Mario Chalmers (and Joel Anthony of course) were skying over Tim Duncan, Dejuan Blair, and the rest of my time to pick up offensive rebounds. Then, watching Mike Miller hit two contested 3's was the breaking point. Watching the moron toss an alley-oop in the half-court offense with LeBron morphing through Duncan (and Duncan NOT contesting it) was funny. Watching him swipe and swipe and swipe the entire court (the entire game!) was not fun. Watching Parker picked by LeBron time and time again and watching my Spurs miss layup after layup against the invisible D was horrifying. :/

Ugh...just ugh. This comes after having an epic duel against a Thunder user last night where the game ended 95-93 lol...

I know it's frustrating, but you need to learn the difference between correlation and causation. Don't generalize.

Just b/c someone plays with the heat doesn't mean they suck. I play with the heat b/c dwyane wade is my favorite player and i know i don't suck. You played against a cheeser and that's what they do. You just got to learn how to beat them.

Some people play with the Heat because they are fans of them and may have been since before the Big 2.5.

I was just venting/ranting because I was "mad". I'm good now. Yeah, overly generalized statement placed upon an individual fanbase. Love the Miami Heat (no hate). Wish they win the title vs. the Thunder.

your not always a cheeser if you use the heat. some people just like the team and decide to pick them.

but its a fact that cheesers are always the heat, thunder, lakers, clippers, knicks or bulls (when rose is healthy). ive even come across a couple celtics and grizzlies cheesers but not often.

ive never encountered a cheeser using any other team.

The Thunder are worse IMO. They are more balanced and all people literally have to do with Durant is hit the X button and shoot over anyone and he makes it 50+ pct of the time.

I try to avoid both teams. I played nearly 150 games online and have used the Heat twice and the Thunder 3-4 times. It isn't fun using them nor playing against them, because 90 pct of the people online play the same way.

I do the same and avoid the Heat too. My personal favorite is when you beat them with real basketball and you get a message about how much you suck.

Its nothing personal against anyone, but I have more respect for people who don't pick the Heat or Thunder online but when I do play online 98% of the time people always pick the Heat or Thunder. To me it just doesn't take alot of skill to play with them with the way online quick matches are set up. Its already to easy to steal the ball or drive in and dunk or shoot 3's and hardly any fouls are called on 2K12 online, so when people do get the Heat or Thunder, this is all I see, I rarely see plays or anykind of offense ran, 2K's Durant rating lets you rarely miss a shot with him and drive in and dunk easily, its the same with how Lebron is, and also D.Wade and Westbrook just as formitable. So I know I'm infor someone holding the speed button constantly to drive in, or trying to shoot 99% of the time with Lebron or Durant, seeing the steal button spammed to death by the user, or trying to bomb 3pointers.

I know there are true Heat and Thunder fans that do play online, but I know that 98% that pick them aren't all true Heat and Thunder fans. I'm just hoping for NBA2K13 to have online set up better with online lobbies, so we can see who were playing first and there rep for online play - better balance for offense and defense, more options/rules, etc to choose from to finally get to the point of someone who uses basketball strategy will usually bet someone who plays arcade -will NBA2K13 finally give us this....

Also that is funny last night I blew a guy out that had the Heat by 20points. I had the Grizzlies, I don't claim to be the greatest player, I'm probably really just a novice as far as online play, but I did get him. I just try to have fun playing and do try to run plays and attempt to play SIM. Oh the guy cursed me out and was pissed that he lost with the Heat. It is a nice feeling beating those guys who do pick the Heat or Thunder

Ya I know what you guys mean, I mean I beat the Heat with the Cavs the other day and the guys was saying how I got lucky and how he couldn't hit a shot(b/c of my great D) it was just funny.

This is a frustrating point for me because I have been a Heat fan since Wade and Lebron were in Elementary School. Its so funny to hear people complain about playing the Heat because absolutely no one complained about playing the Heat up until 2K6, 2K7 and 2K11/2K12. No one feared playing me with the Heat in 2K10 yet I constantly saw the Lakers, Suns, Nuggets, Cavs, etc etc. With that being said, I have probably played against Miami 10x more than I have used them. I've been a fan since we drafted Burton (my favorite college player) in 91. It is amazing to see how "fans" move around now depending on where the stars go.
