    Free Practice Plays

After eight and a half seasons, maybe 140 games, I've never seen a FG blocked. I don't think it will ever happen.

Starting mid year nine, when my opponent is place kicking, I practice a under utilized defense.
I play on the PS3, I suspect everything doesn't work the same on all platforms.
I never learned anything while I was talking.

I think you need to have Performance pretty high with both your STC and HC to block punts or field goals in this game. I've blocked one in 5 years, but my STC has Performance 4 and HC Performance 5.

I'm not sure Performance matters as much as you think. My teams have blocked several punts over the seasons by having a man come unblocked up the middle; while my coach Performance is high, my ST coordinator's P value has never been higher than average.

I think to block a punt all you may need is a fast backup MLB and a little luck. *shrugs*

That said, I've never seen a FG blocked.

You could always make custom formations to increase your chance. Though I've never blocked a FG with one (have blocked a few with just a guy going unblocked in regular FG block).

I made a few punt D's that can usually get a few blocks a year, though more than not the CPU checks into a better protection or my guys get picked up on the play.

I've never blocked a FG. However, I blocked a punt, sort of. They were punting from their endzone and I called a punt block. As they were backed up in their endzone, the players were closer than usual. One player got a hand on it, and blocked it right into the punters hands, who was then tackled for a safety.

URLACHER BLOCKED AN EXTRA POINT FOR ME, RAN RIGHT UP THE MIDDLE, ALMOST DIED OF SCHOCK.
