Tomba Madden 12 Patch Now Available for Xbox 360

TombaSports proudly presents the Tomba Madden 12 Patch for Xbox 360. A gameplay edit applied to the entire Madden 12 NFL Roster's individual player attributes that fixes and improves all areas of gameplay and game stability.

Included in the patch are:
Player Performance Edits that highlight more than 200 of the best players in the NFL.
Player equipment changes that mimic what they wear in real life.
Slider set for the Broadcast Camera option that allows for better passing games with realistic real life results. Link above

THIS PATCH DOES NOT REQUIRE THE USE OF SPECIFIC SLIDER SETTINGS.

However we do suggest you use the follow speed settings:
Game Speed Slow/Normal
Speed Threshold ZERO -Reason for the threshold being set at ZERO is so that the computer has as little an affect on the attribute speed settings implemented within the edit.


Unique to the edit is a Player Performance Edit based off of Real Life Player and Team Ratings /Rankings

QB Likeness for the 20 Best QB in the League
RB Likeness for the 20 Best RB in the League
WR Likeness for the 50 Best WR in the League
TE Likeness for the 15 Best TE in the League
Offensive Lineman Likeness for the 10 Best Teams in the League
Linebacker Likeness for the 30 Best Linebackers in the League
Cornerback, Free Safety and Strong Safety Likeness for the Top 20 Teams in the League
Kicker and Punter Likeness For the Top 20 Kicker and Punters in the League
Kick Off Returner and Punt Returner Likeness For the Top 50 Returners in the League


Key areas this patch has been able to address in regards to gameplay problems from the release of the retail version are:

• QB scrambling - Made those QB's that can scramble have better animations and running motions.
• QB Throwing - More accurate in-game speeds for individual QB's.
• QB Accuracy - Accuracy Edit that allows for needle like passes and better looking long balls.
• QB Error and Success - Better representation of QB's ability to get off throws and make crucial passes.
• RB bursts through the line and up the middle - Working of a lineman edit that fixes the procedural awareness in the game. RB's can now break through as they do in Real Life.
• RB and WR Juke and Spin - RB's and WR's now have a much more realistic approach and speed to how they are executed in game.
• RB Toss Plays - Now are accurately excited and have a success rate that of Real Life situations based off of defensive Error and Success within the Player Performance Edit
• WR Route Running - More intelligent and aggressive based off of the Elite and better WR's in the NFL.
• WR Speed - Overall better representation of a how NFL WR's run before catching and after catching the ball.
• WR Jumping - Made WR's reactions better against defense by improving the WR's Jumping and Catching within the players attributes ratings so that more accurate one on one situations can be had.
• WR Diving Catches - Improved the way WR's go after wild or crucial throws by the QB's.
• TE Strength - Adjusted the way TE's would act against coverage by improving their catching and running abilities
• Center Pass and Run protection - Fixed Centers who had poor blocking abilities for their teams pocket and scrambling QB's
• LineBacker, CornerBack and Safety Pass Coverage - Fixed the way LB,CB and Safeties would react to certain passes to receivers. LB,CB and Safeties show better poise and restraint and make better decisions towards the throw.
• CornerBack and Safety Man Coverage -Increased the disparity in between CornerBack and Safeties against WR's by making their play recognition more realistic and time based of of their awareness and agility.
• Kicker Accuracy and Power - Made Kicker's field goal attempts from different yardage more accurate to what they can do in Real Life.
• Punter Accuracy and Power - Made Punters kicks from from less or accurate and powerful based off of individual players skills.
• Kick and Punt Returner Running Ability - Kick Returners can break away more freely which accurately depicts the current trend of the NFL today.

As always we like to hear feedback and Tomba will be glad to answer any questions regarding the edit except for the following.

1) Do not make requests for additional roster edits. Currently there are NO plans for the Free Agent Pool to be worked on.
2) Discussions involving the formula or the way Tomba has edited attributes can not be answered due to reasons beyond his and our control.
3) As this edit is very specific and can not be adjusted any further. Please do not request changes to certain players attributes based off personal opinion. Edits HAVE BEEN made to every elite and non elite player across the NFL rosters and play out as best as they do in real life.

Got the file rehashed and resigned. Wanted to confirm a couple ratings of players, as to me it seems something is off, and wanted to make sure something funny didn't happen, and these are indeed the ratings that should be in your edit.
First off, is DJ Ware with the Giants being a 91 OVR and having 99s in ELU, BCV, and SFA. Next would be Peyton Manning having a 59 AWR. Are these the correct ratings, or did something funny happen?

Maybe I'm not familiar with how this edit works?

Peyton has a 99 awareness. You must be looking at the roster you already had

Nope. Absolutely positive that this is the file that I rehashed and resigned from Tomba. Something funny must have gone on with the file.


Edit: Just went in and deleted all roster saves from the HDD and saved the roster that shipped with the game. Took that and got the IDs, the used said IDs to rehash and resign the Tomba file I downloaded from the link in the first post. Injected the file to my usb stick, and went into the dash and copied the file over to the HDD, and still get the ratings I mentioned.

Haha how in the world is Cam Newton a better overall rating and awareness rating than Peyton? And how is Mike Vick better overall and awareness than Brees and Brady and pretty much every QB in the league?

I shut it off at half but I was the Titans against Raiders 10 min quarters.

At half I was up 24-0 and CJ had 140yds on 10 carries and two TDs. I think Hasselback had one incompletion.


It plays different for sure but sliders will be needed. I noticed that the AI tackling sucks and it was much easier for me to pressure the QB

Anything I write will try to help you enjoy the patch

I would suggest MAKING SURE that you have the game speed at normal or slow and with a threshold of ZERO. As anything else for threshold starts involving the computer into messing with attributes...

Try out the slider set I HAVE ALREADY PROVIDED in the slider section(although it is more catered towards Broadcast Cam) TombaSports provided a link to THAT thread already within the original post.

IF you are playing in STANDARD CAMERA I suggest playing on ALL PRO.

IF you are VERY good at Madden then play on ALL MADDEN...

The easiest way to explain it is this way...

The awareness is based off of the SPEED of the players and I do not consider Manning or Brady to be fast at anything. Calculated YES. Accurate YES, which Newton is not but Vick is as well, so its those subtle things that stand out.

I've matched attributes in a way that is structures the game code to bring out necessary ANIMATIONS so higher lower attribute rating do not mean the player is weaker or stronger just HAS the animations associated within that attribute number range.
