Should I Buy NHL 12 Over FIFA 12?

Obviously this is a NHL forum, but I am deciding whether to buy FIFA 12 or NHL 12. I have heard the last couple of years that both the games are amazing, and I have never owned a hockey or soccer game on my PS3 so I am looking to buy one now. I would consider myself more of a hockey fan than of a soccer fan. Thoughts?

Soccer's boring, to play and to watch. Just my opinion, of course......

Hockey's fast-paced style, hard-hitting, etc. is what hooked me and got me to play.

I'd say go with NHL 12.....

Sorry bleachercreature, just trying to gain some more insight... as for everyone else, thanks for actually answering my question. I am going to go out right now and buy the game, can't wait to play it as it will be my first NHL game since NHL 04 on the PS2.. Go Flyers!
