Jordan Triple Pump Reverse Layup
I apologize if this isnt really thread-worthy but has anyone seen this move in the game. Just a random thought that crossed my mind. His best airborn move for my money...Tags: None -
Re: Jordan Triple Pump Reverse Layup
I don't know if we need it. But it is always good for effects lol jk.
But I don't.. do we even have the drive for dunk then switch in the air for a layup (vs the Lakers in the finals)Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Yeah that's in the game. If you change your shot during a dunk attempt while driving down the lane he'll do that move. What we know so far about NBA 2K14 - FAQ/QA:

Without it being a canned animation, I not sure that we will ever see this move in the game. I'm not sure it can even be done as scripted move. It seems beyond what we can produce with 1's and 0's.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: Jordan Triple Pump Reverse Layup
I've done it a couple times, I believe it's the same move above. It always catches me off guard cuz I think he's doing a regular reverse animation except he hangs for so long that by the time he releases it I'm convinced he's on the ground.[NYK|DAL|VT]

That is something not meant to be repeated by mere mortals. Notice you've never seen this move duplicated by anyone."I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying."

Re: Jordan Triple Pump Reverse Layup
Yes, it is in the game. I did it with the 86 Jordan. I have only seen it once though.

My favorite thing about that shot will always be the reaction of the NJ bench. The closest thing I've seen to that is during VC's prime years, he got some big reactions from opposing benches!Comment

Re: Jordan Triple Pump Reverse Layup
It's this animation isn't it?
It's not as dynamic as the real move, but neither is the shot over Ewing's back animation, so I'm pretty sure that's what it's suppose to be.Last edited by MessenjahMatt; 07-29-2011, 11:33 PM.Comment
