New Intro's

It seems with the new San Jose Sharks entrance video, it appears that authentic entrances will be added to the game. This is something I have wanted for a while because it makes the game seem even more realistic.

What are your thoughts on possible authentic entrances?

A step in the right direction, but judging from the SJ video, it seems very ehh... it is like a 3 second clip added to the old entrances.

I just want the Hawks arena to be lit up red when the Hawks come out.

Same. I'd rather they focus on getting the actual arenas themselves authentic first rather than the same for each with just a different center ice logo. But eh, I'm ok with them adding stuff like the shark head I guess. Just not a major deal imo.

Don't get me wrong, I like what they've done, I just want more on the presentation level.. I do hope all teams have a special intro and it's not just Edmonton and San Jose.

Well your hope is wrong, seems that it will only by those two teams with new entrances this year, which sucks

Well I doubt they get my money then. That is total bs.. kind of like an after thought. I mean, if you're not a SJ or Edmonton fan, you just get the generic intro?

If I recall right, NHL 07 for the PS2 had intros for every team... I remember the Wings coming out of the octopus (even though that's a playoff thing)

I think it's a nice tough for single player... but in online games, they will just get skipped through most times. I always like to see more effort put into the actual gameplay than the presentation, but that's just me.
