          Michigan 2010-2011 Season Recap

After a disappointing campaign in 2010, Michigan felt it better that they part ways with head coach Rich Rodriguez (top left). After an encouraging 5-0 start, Michigan had a lot of things going for them. Denard Robinson was a early season surprise, racking up Heisman-worthy stats. But then again, this was their non-conference. Big Ten play started, injuries plagued their defense and star quarterback, and their defense couldn't stop anybody. That's when things turned for the worst. The Wolverines ultimately finished the regular season how they have the past seven seasons...losing to Ohio State. Then after a terrible bowl performance, getting crushed by Mississippi State, Rich Rod was ousted. The search began and resulted in bringing a Michigan Man back into the reins. Former San Diego St. head coach Brady Hoke(top right). He says that this job is a dream job and that he is ready to take Michigan back to the top.

          Michigan 2011-2012 Season Preview

With a new head coach and new coordinators, Michigan is looking to get off to a fresh start.
          Quarterbacks
Denard Robinson (middle left) is going to lead the offense. But with Tate Forcier transferring in the off-season, it'll be Devin Gardner backing him up if injuries plague Robinson as it did last season. Overall, they should be solid here.
          Running Backs
This is where it could get a little messy. There are a solid five guys that could start this season. But leading the race to start is either between Senior Michael Shaw or Sophomore Stephen Hopkins. But under them is plenty of depth from Vincent Smith to Michael Cox to incoming Freshman Justice Hayes. Michigan shouldn't have to worry about their backs.
          Receivers/Tight Ends
At the receiver position, Michigan has returning starter Roy Roundtree leading the group. Opposite of him will most likely be Junior Hemingway as Daryl Stonum has been suspended indefinitely by Hoke for his 2nd DUI charge. They have plenty of experience with four of the eight being seniors. Look for UM to go and dive into WR recruits. As for tight end, returning as starter is Kevin Koger. Being backed up by two redshirt Juniors in Brandon Moore and Ricardo Miller. Position Rating: 7.5/10
          Offensive Line
Michigan has a very experienced offensive line anchored together by C David Molk. Three of the other four projected starters are redshirt Juniors with the only underclassman being Taylor Lewan. Look for this line to make plenty of running lanes for Robinson.
          Defensive Line
Without question, this group is led by defensive tackle Mike Martin (middle right). In fact, the whole defense is centered around this guy. Coming off of an All-Conference selection, he's looking to put up big numbers. Assisting him are left end Ryan Van Bergen, right end Craig Roh, and Will Campbell. The success of the defense rests on these four lineman, as they have converted to a 4-3 system.
          Linebackers
The linebacking corp is definitely where they have the most young talent, with Cameron Gordon and Jake Ryan in an extremely tight battle for ROLB. The head of the defense, Kenny Demens (coming off season where he was 3rd in the team in tackles) has to use his senior leadership to keep this defense together. Marell Evans makes up the other starter.
          Defensive Backs
Possibly the iffiest part of this entire team. Injuries riddled this group last season, but brought forth exciting prospects. Like this years starter at strong safety, Jordan Kovacs. He got his chance through injury and earned him this years starting spot. The only other leader of this group is top cornerback Troy Woolfolk. Besides these two, the free saftey job is up for grabs between three underclassmen and all the other corners are underclassmen (excluding RS JR J.T. Floyd). One of the possible future stars is freshman Blake Countess.

haha thats pretty cool. I'm expecting him to do good. When i played ncaa 11, he was one of my leading receivers. He's pretty solid.
