Is there a site that posts the default team rosters for MLB 11 The Show, similar to what they do for Madden each year before it is released?

As of now, there isn't a site like that. To my knowledge, SCEA has never released team's rosters prior to release. They do usually release a list of the top players at each position that shows the attributes of these players. This list is usually posted in the forums on this site by someone from SCEA.

To be honest, Nixon, most of the things that you asked about in your thread will probably not be as accurate as you would like them to be, but one thing that is great about this forum is that many people will be fixing these things and they will more than likely be included in the community roster set. I know this doesn't help with regular online head to head games, but playing online is a waste anyway, unless you play against someone who actually plays the game the right way and those types of players are very rare. If you're interested in playing in an online league, custom roster sets can now be used, so all of the corrections can be included. This is an excellent addition to the game.
