No i don't got internet on the 360

Along these same lines, I take your requests to mean you typically need to pay for xbox live in order to download updated rosters? Is that correct?

Typically yes. But most of the time there is a method for using a usb drive and downloading them on a PC and then being able to transfer them to your xbox. I have done that in the past with other games so I don't see why it wouldn't be possible with this game.
