simulated games stats
anyone know how what to change so that in simmed games, freethrows aren't at 30-45 per team?Tags: None -
Re: simulated games stats
This has been something that has annoyed me along with teams assist thruout the league. I have went thru and reedited players and coaches profiles trying to get these issues solved and finally I think I am ready to start a association for the last time. I don't know why 2k can't sim seasons in test and fix these damn issues before they release the game. -
Re: simulated games stats
Game sliders do not affect simulated stats at all. Two things: coaches profiles (as mentioned above) and Simulated Quarter Length (not to be confused with actual quarter length) which can be set when you start an association or in the association options. The only problem, I think, is that you must control all 30 teams in order to change the profiles, and if you change them outside of association they either won't save or won't carry over into association so you have to do it every time you start a new association.#1 Rule of Sliders: Realism is RelativeComment

Re: simulated games stats
Coaches profiles. Lower attack, inside and close range and raise mid, 3, and post. This is what I have done in test to help with this issue. I also adjust D and Help D some for certain teams that might or might not be helping also.

Re: simulated games stats
I adjusted coaches profiles with my own roster edits so I'm not sure what Geebo's is set at. A rule of thumb i used was lowering inside and mid range by -10 and adding that to either mid or 3's depending on the team. I also lowered attack basket for some teams, the rule of thumb i used for that is no team has more that 25 for attack basket. It's not perfect but if i sim a game that the fouls are out of whack i just reload and resim the game, lol. 2k really needs to work on this aspect of the game because it is a joke that you have to spend so much time editing and adjusting before you can truely enjoy the game, even then its not great.Comment

Re: simulated games stats
As an example, rashidis roster present lowered fouls across the board ... then again, more than a few people are tweaking the sliders to lower them even more (for ingame purposes). Honestly, to me, they are fine as they stand in his roster ... thus ingame results depend strongly on the user style of play.Comment

Re: simulated games stats
There is a gap between simulated results and ingame results in respect of ratings and tendencies ... also, sliders affect ingame but not simulated stats. That tendency affects both. So its better to go with the tendency first and if needed, adjust the ingame with the sliders.
