Why did you buy NBA 2K11

The Question is why did you buy NBA 2k12? Was it your a fan of the NBA? You like the 2k series? Best sports game ever that's why? Madden was sub par again so I'm playing NBA 2k11. Madden to me was sub par not only game play but the franchise mode is unusable. Football is my favorite sport and the playoffs are going right now I'm all about NBA 2k11.. I'm not bashing EA I love there Hockey series since NHL 95!! Madden was a great game but I just could not stay with it. MLB 2k is not good so I like who ever makes the better game not the company. NBA 2k11 has been fun at 31 I'm loving basketball again I'm watching on tv because of 2k etc great game

I have 2K11 for the PC (and stopped playing it a while ago because I'm waiting for the PS3 2K11's price to drop), but for me it's becuse I need an NBA game, and I like the 2K series. Anyway, there aren't any other options (NBA Jam is not a baskebtall game, in my opinion). Even if there were other options, I'd probably end up buying 2K11.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see what Madden got to do with this... Madden got nothing to do with basketball or the 2K series.

I would still be playing Madden as I'm a huge fan of the series and football over basketball. I played 2k one year and that was 2k9 due to Madden issues. I've always played my football games till feb after the super bowl even in the tecmo days. The fact that madden was just average I sold it heard the hype on this and liked it. After playing a month I enjoy more each time the sliders to the association everything is good on this.. I have kids and can only afford one sports game so to me the choice over madden over NBA 2k was hard but had to be done. I really was mad at the NBA after the Lebron D wade and Bosh deal in Miami. There not as much parity in the NBA like the NFL and the NBA players are friends not like in the past when they wanted to beat each other.. It's now a different league times change.. Those factors made the NBA unattractive to me but the game is hands down good!!
