    Need help trading for Melo

    I'm in year 1 of my Knicks franchise and I desperately want to trade for Carmelo Anthony. I offered Gallinari, Chandler, Eddy Curry (expiring contract) and a 1st round pick and Denver still declined. I also offered Anthony Randolph instead of Chandler and they still declined. Has anyone using the Knicks successfully traded for Carmelo without having trade override turned on?

      I wouldn't trade Melo for those guys either... Try offering something better, maybe throw in Felton or another first round pick...

          I would try and sign Carmelo in the off-season, by signing him in the off-season you are not losing any players besides the possibilty of Wilson Chandler.

              But aren't you allowed only 4 slots (players/draft picks) to trade in the trading window?

                  Hey I made a thread on this a week or two ago and here is one of the replys I received.

                  You can get Melo:

                  Randolph to the Wolves for a 1st round pick and Cartier Martin (who u can flip to the Kings for a 2nd round pick)

                  Wolves 1st round pick, Curry and Azubuike to Wizards for Arenas, a scrub and a 2nd round pick.

                  Arenas, Gallinari and Chandler and Wizards 2nd round pick to Nuggets for Carmelo, Anthony carter and The Birdman

                  Switch Arenas position to Shooting Guard or else the Nuggets wont accept (They already have Billups as a point guard)

                      Sweet, thanks! I might stop playing this game once the Show 11 drops so I wouldnt have the chance to sign Melo in the offseason.
