Recent BaGM Problems

1. Tavares, EKane and 2 other +85 rated players are going on year 2 of being RFAs.
2. My 1st round pick from last year retired at the age of 19. Sat a year in junior and then retires. ?!?!

I believe per the CBA, a player remains a RFA until they are 27 and 4 seasons of accrued service or 7 seasons of service. So, Tavares and Kane should be RFAs still if your only 2 seasons in.

The issue isn't that they are RFAs I get that its the fact that they are not being signed by their teams (or no other offers for that matter) and not playing in the NHL for a 2nd season in a row.

Well given the outrageous amounts players ask for and the fact that the cpu no longer wants to part with top picks or prospects, it's not suprising. EA really needs to revamp their trade logic and sim engine. It's just too bad it probably won't happen until they are ready to completely revamp the series again.

In other words, welcome back Arcade Hockey. The SIM aspect has become extinct.

Lets be honest, EA's game was never really "Sim".

They always were going after the arcade player market more than sim players market. There is more money to be made in the arcade side of things.

For years people wanted full control of dynasty mode but they never done anything about it until they gave people season mode which was a one year thing, yet gave out the very much fantasy based EASHL and BAGM with all its set achievements and goal toward building a fantasy team.

HUT and Fifa ultimate team is the same.

Just my opinion of course.

Yeah, while there are definatley some "sim" aspects to the game and it can be ALOT of fun to play with other people who play the game the way it should be played, it's still arcadish. From the skating to the crazy dekes, to the unrealistic goalie play. That on top of the way BAGM is.
