Yea why not play zone to force outside shots, you aint gone hit them, and by the we lets get a big center like D Howard to protect the middle, so you can, either get a block, miss a easy lay up, cause they sure dont call fouls either!!!! Online piss me off sometimes.

I have to disagree. Ever since the patch, I have been loving this game. I play withthe Celtics (Kevin Garnett fan). Outside shooting is definitely a weapon I use. YOu just have to to tkae good shots (you knowstuff where people don't put a hand in your face.

Also the lag online is greatly reduced for your shooting so now you can actually shootlike you do offline. Since the patch I have won every online game I have played (10+). The reason is that the game rewards you for taking good shots. Driving to the hole is there and on some occasions a good player will make tough shots.....but over the long-haul people can't sustain it.

And check this out..... I play sim. I actually can play on the ball-d as well. You can get open shots against the CPU if you create a little space. I would efinitely recommend you guys run plays because they can create some good looks. Also, learn how to shoot free-throws (practice, practice, practice). And if you try and snow-bird 75% of that stuff is gone. I can't stress enough how much the game rewards you for playing a more sim-like experience.

Last but not least......take advantage of matchups. I LOVE the post-up game and it can be a nightmare

Just get to the lane and pump fake-draw foul your way to victory. You at least should be able to shoot free throws.

How do you draw the foul, and can you draw a foul without pump faking, like when I drive to the hole for a layup or dunk, how can i draw a foul then?

I have not been able to pumpfake then draw a foul on the perimeter yet. It was a lot easier to pull off in 2K10.

I just started to take my game online after a lot of my player (just like I did in NBA 2k10) and I can basically get where ever I want on the floor with John Wall. I just dominated a guy using the Heat with Johnny and did a lot of my damage from the outside. Gil probably shoots around 33-35% but Wall from within the arc is butter with just a little bit of room.

My online game is almost entirely outside jumpers.

How do you draw the foul, and can you draw a foul without pump faking, like when I drive to the hole for a layup or dunk, how can i draw a foul then?

Hold up on the left analog stick when your not dribbling and continuously tap square someone will bite sooner or later and you'll autmatically draw the foul eventually especially if your in the lane. In the lane people bite so much it's hilarious because you'll wind up getting points when you should've either got stuffed or just flat out missed.

To me it sounds like a sound defense vs people who only know how to drive and not do anything else.
