Seriously this games defense sucks!!!

I know its been said a million times but this game i just played this kids record was 72-15, the whole game passes to addai and clark... nothing more nothing less. He would get Wayne maybe once or twice because i was manually d'ing the other two.

It's ridiculous... his receiving chart only had 3 f'in names on it. This game is so cheesy and broken it's ridiculous.

I lost 28-21.

Play friends on All Madden with longer quarters

I'm having a blast playing it this way .....win or lose !!

Soooo much better than playing ranked All Pro games against opponents you don't know

that is kinda the way i play except i get more than 3 recievers involved.
these are how i distribute the ball
RB- easy pass and it can go long
#3 reciever- this guy is usually has a route that gets him free across the middle and it helps when i use the siants and it is henderson with his 98 speed and if they play man it is almost a guranteed touchdown.
TE- has quick routes across the middle and is usually against a backer.
#1 reciever- i think he is best when used in a 5 reciever set because he will be inside and against a linebacker if you don't have defensive assignments.

Put the game away until the gameplay patch comes out. If there isn't a substantial improvement in the pass defense then everyone can bitch all they want...but give EA a chance to fix it.

i hear you....and when you know it's coming, sometimes your guy is too slow to get there. am i picking the wrong defense or am i just not that good on defense? ugh.

I think the game is alot of fun to play but at times I get frustrated with
the defense. I play on All-Madden because I want a challenge but the
missed tackles is hard to get used to. I will play from time to time but
I am going to wait for the gameplay patch. I believe the patch will
make this game amazing and the D will be back.

i played probably 40 games online, never have i held some one under 14 (besides kids who are legit bad) or scored less than 14.

So they should continue to come out with broken games but it's ok if they patch them? Here's a tip for the EA guys: Fix the game before you add new stuff, especially when the "new stuff" gets taken out 2 or 3 years later (vision cone, player weapons, Madden IQ, soon to be Gameflow).

It's pathetic when online games become a game of "whoever fumbles first loses" because both teams score every single drive.

Just run quarters cover 3 all game. Hot route your DE's to hook zones. It shuts down the pass.

Its not the defense that sucks. Its playing online that sucks. All the cheese masters online ruin the whole experience. And its ALWAYS going to be like that. Why I wish they would stop focusing so much on online crap and get back to focusing on what made the game what it is. Offline play.

I agree with you man, their trying to make some new revolutionary feature, like they did with the hitstick and juke stick. But stuff like Gameflow, fight for the fumble and all the things you mentioned are stupid to me.

They don't have to really remodel the players, except rookies...
The roster is just moving players from A to B.
Franchise, superstar and modes like that have been the same since 08.
So really, what are they spending all their time doing... giving us gameplans, that i doubt a majority of madden players use.

They need to perfect their current featured before adding new one.
Franchise is broken in my eyes, so is superstar and defense. Recently they added Ultimate team and this year Online Team Play, which i think is broken to a extent.

Just fix everything that's broken... and idc if there isn't any new features or things like that in 12

Everyone can bitch all they want right now. If EA is going to be the only football game on the market, then we better get a completed product upon release. This game is a joke it is so bad. The defenses are beyond embarassing. They dont even run the defensive plays. You can put 5 db's on the field versus a 2 wr set and everyone is still wide open. I have had players blitz despite being put in a cover 2 zone. It is a joke.

Fail. So fail it isnt even funny. The defense is horrid in this game, the ai logic is beyond laughable. It has nothing to do with anything except EA sucks.
