Why can't I run the damn ball in on the goal line?

I run the ball all the way down the field (literally, from my 1, running every play) but as soon as I get to the goal line it's just impossible.

I just tried 4 different running plays from inside the 3. None of them worked. No matter what, the defense was in my backfield instantly. No chance.

And some 60-something overall DT split a double team on two consecutive plays and made the tackle in the backfield.

Odd... I find goalline running far too easy. I just run Iso, or as I've renamed it, "Rod of Moses", because the defense parts like the Red Sea.

Not just goal line anything short yardage to the first down seems difficult. This is not a bad thing though, at times it's slightly crazy when the DT sheds the block so quickly and blows the whole play up, but I'd rather have that trade-off then the over used FB dive working every single time.

i unno. don't have any problems with short yardage. Theres always the endzone fade.

Did you try a FB dive? thats the play i go to when i need like 1 to 3 yards

Yeah, I've had no noticable problems with goaline running. Sometimes you just get stopped. I've run in with QB, HB, FB etc. I enjoy jumping over the pile, works a lot and you see some nice animations whether you score, get stopped or just take a hit.
