The injuries are absurd. During games that I play only a couple guys get hurt since I turned down the injury slider. But when I sim, the other teams in the NFL get hurt like crazy. Tons of players get hurt. It's very unrealistic and makes your franchise less fun when you play a team and their whole team is filled with 2nd string players. Any suggestions?

Re: Need help in Franchise mode.
Same prioblem as last year, simmed games get treated differently from played games leaving the user team at a HUGE advantage.Comment

Re: Need help in Franchise mode.
Exactly and jmurphy I did lower the injury slider, but that only seems to affect the games I play. I cannot play every single NFL game in my franchise because that will take forever. The games that I play the injuries are fine, but when I sim a game then we have a problem.Comment

Take injuries off. If u cant(i dnt kno if u can) try turning off fatigue. If theyre not tired, they wouldnt get hurt as muchComment

Re: Need help in Franchise mode.
I turned my injury slider down to 40 although 35 might be ideal. Either way the injury slider doesn't seem to effect simmed games like someone already mentioned. I was sick of the whole NFL going down for 9 weeks at a time so I tried using no injuries for simmed games. That sucked too.Magnificent Bastards - Second to None

maybe turn sim injuries off every other week or something like that so you still get injuries just not as many of em
i knw not ideal but might workComment

Re: Need help in Franchise mode.
Granted I only have logged 7 weeks in franchise mode, I haven't noticed the insane amount of injuries that I did last year. Last I checked, I only had 5 or 6 starting QBs injured, and only 2 were for the entire season. I seem to remember injuries being more of a problem in M10.
Too early for me to tell though.Comment

Re: Need help in Franchise mode.
I have found this to be the best way to keep the injuries in check. I also leave sim injuries off for the enitre preseason which perhaps is less realistic as many players do go down with injuries before the season starts, however it keeps the league more balanced as teams are not missing half their starters (usually QB's) before the season ever begins.Comment

Re: Need help in Franchise mode.
That's funny.
I seem to have the exact opposite problem. When I sim I rarely see injuries, but man, when I play my players go down like flys. Typically they're only the Out for the Game variety, but man is it annoying.
I did adjust the sliders, and it helped a bit.Comment

Re: Need help in Franchise mode.
Yeah I think it's a good idea to turn sim injuries off in the pre-season. The Pre-Season is virtually useless in Madden, its just kind of there because its there in real life, but it certainly doesn't hold the same purpose as it does in real life.Comment
