I don't think I've really seen any threads on this. But, the replay length on the PS3 is mostly very short. The weird part is, sometimes I can get the full replay length on a longer play, but for the most part it's cut short. I love saving my replays, but it's a huge disappointment when a great play is cut short.

Re: PS3 replay length
I agree they are really short most of the time. Like last night I had a 20 yard fumble recovery and TD by my DE and I wanted to save it. But it was cut and it only had a short clip of him running with the ball to the end zone.

Re: PS3 replay length
Is this happening on xbox 360 as well?..."And there's a frequent bug that turns the receivers' route markers into dancing squiggly lines. None of these problems destroy the fun of running a perfect option play, but they do take you out of what should be an immersive experience."....Comment

Re: PS3 replay length
It's been discussed and it's allegedly a ram issue. But the weird thing is that I'll have some replays that are 14-15 seconds long and other ones that are completely cut off. It wasn't cut off in the past so I don't know what happened this year.Comment

Re: PS3 replay length
Not trying to start a system war here at all. I own the game on both consoles to play with my PS3 buddies and 360 buddies online.
If you have to choose between the two, get the 360 version. It looks better, does not cut off replays, and plays a lot smoother. The PS3 version has some really weird slowdown on some plays offline, and the graphics do seem to contain more jaggies than 360. Graphically the 360 version looks more vibrant color wise and the aliasing appears to be better.
Now this is just personal preference but it feels like the 360 gives you a tad more control as well with the new locomotion system. The analogs on the ps3 seem to have a much higher dead zone, so it is much tougher to pull off finesse moves in the open field (mainly the ones on the left stick), compared to the 360 controller.Christian McLeod--EA Sports NBA Live/Madden NFL Producer

Re: PS3 replay length
Yes, it's annoying, but it seems to be different on some plays. Like when I see the back of my RB already running down the field for a long gain. I'd like to see the blocking but you can't rewind.Comment

Like I said, I'm not attempting to start anything, just calling it like I see it. The game is not bad on PS3 by any means, it just feels better on the 360 to me.Christian McLeod--EA Sports NBA Live/Madden NFL Producer

Re: PS3 replay length
I've noticed this as well. I've seen some long plays that get the full replay, and it always surprises me. It really seems to cut off those long runs or returns. Maybe it's the amount of the field covered during the play?Playing:
