No dirty unis in Madden 11

By these vids at Raymond James Stadium where they have natural grass it doesn't look like the unis will get dirty. It's the 4th qtr and it's raining, all unis are clean as a whistle.

Is this a big deal for you?

I'm not that worried but, I know some will will go crazy about it.

Is it awesome? Probably not...I wish it was in, maybe almost like M09, but I won't lose sleep over it.

As long as gameplay is there, i really do not see any issues with dirty uniforms, facemasks, shoes, Santa in the stands, etc. Game play is what it is about. for me at least.

In the real nfl when it rains, player uniforms get dirty

In Madden 11 when it rains , player uniforms do not get dirty and stay clean AND PEOPLE ARE OK WITH THIS!!!

If it is seen on Sunday why is ok if its not seen in Madden?

I know I said it didn't matter to me because in the end I'll still by the game. But, is this what we have come to know a days? Have we gotten to the point where it's acceptable for them to take out features just to make the gameplay better?

I agree with you djordan, I think we've let them take out features and still purchase the game because we know they are trying to make the gameplay better. At what point do we say enough is enough? Stop taking out features to make the game play better.

I think the past 2 years the players would get so dirty you couldn't even tell who was on what team but, the field didn't get torn up. All that mud and the field looked like it was turn no matter where you played.

Looks like no field degradation and dirty unis. It's like here you go... Ahhh no you don't.

As far back as Madden 2000 the players uniforms and field would be effected by rain.

This specific issue isn't a big deal. The big deal is how things that were good on old Maddens are gone from the new ones (cpu initiated trades, RFAs, difficult FGs). Madden 2006 on ps2 had online franchise, you just had to use spawned games and the EA locker. We didn't get online franchise on nex gen until last year and it's still not even close to what it was on Madden 2006.

In the short run it doesn't matter, but to me, in the long run it does.Iit isn't a game killer, however, it was something that was in Madden, this generation, that has been removed. Not having it breaks immersion. I just never understood why it was removed from Madden 09.

In 09 it was too extreme. With 15min quarters the field would be ruined and uniforms who covered in mud before the 2ed quarter. I don't understand why EA didn't just take time to tune it, or tune it based on some "length of quarter" ratio, so 5min games got dirty faster than a 15min quarter game. Instead, to no surprise, EA's answer was "remove it" rather than fix it. Heck, i would rather have it left alone than the way it is now.

NCAA11 is the same. That game looks amazing on an afternoon in fall, but it looks out of place in the snow or pouring rain.

It was in the game just a couple years ago? Why would they take it out? And we are supposed to be happy when they put it back in next year...right...... I have turned on madden so much this year it isn't even funny. But they have given me so much to be negative about this year.
