Are the animations and Tackles getting old to you?
I play madden 10 still today at a nice pace, and i constantly see the same tackle animations happening since 09, I watch trailers etc.. and still see the same animations on M11. I mean i know they have to focus on bigger things but that always seem to annoy me, having something similar to the Backbreaker tackle animations would be pretty cool. But hey if they are fixing Franchise mode, etc instead.. that is totally fine. I was wondering what everyone else thought .

hey six pack . I thought that as well. Try this though . i play on all madden now and i put my cpu settings to 10. for some reason this has created the best animations. the games play very real, but you see some unique animations that you would not see or see very little of on allpro or pro. -

Yeah thats crazy Celg, because i actually do that now when i play . I don't play online any more, i just usually play Franchise with friends. And it does actually somewhat cut the repeated animations.
I just hope something new can be installed into M11.Comment

Well I'm going to be honest with you. After playing madden for 20 years now. It really doesn't bother me. I guess I'm use to it by now. So no it really don't bother me.Comment

Problem with Madden 10 is that you will see 3 tackles 90%+ of the time. The shoelace tackle from behind, the WR flip tackle, and the QB throw down sack.Comment

Yes, this has been old to me, the same animations and tackles have been past down in Madden every since 2001, and I cant stand it because it makes the game feel and look the same as the previous year. I just played the
Back Breaker demo and I must say that the tackling is amazing, why cant Madden do this!Comment

Madden is a game trying to replicate the NFL, and for the record I have been watching NFL football since like 1970 and I have seen the same tackles in like every game, it's crazy how accurate Madden is !

I have no problem with the tackles in Madden... It's seeing the same MISSED tackles over and over that bothers me.

LIke already said....The tackles in Madden have really been the same overall since like 2001-02.....A few here and there, but overall...YES...YES i am quite sick of the OLD animations.

The only one that bothers me is the nonstop over-the-shoulder animation. Other than that, I think i'm cool with the animations.Comment

It's ok at times and then other times it gets really old just looking at them over and over. It's like no matter what angle you'll some how get the same stuff over and over. It also isn't just because, of BB. I've thought this way long before BB even came out.Originally posted by WatsonTigerComment

Yea, it's pretty boring IMO.
Even the Hit-Stick tackles are boring - all 2 of them.

The game engine is weak and obsolete. They need to get something that is more realistic and less canned.Comment
