Backbreaker Playbooks?

I haven't looked for much on this topic, but whats the word on playbooks, offense or defense.

I'm already sold on the create a team, so everything else will be on the way side.

All replys appreciated.

Re: Backbreaker Playbooks?

Well, in one of the interviews someone (Rob Donald I think) said he didn't want to announce how many different playbooks they had because it would lead to a "Willie waving contest" with Madden.

I'm guessing the demo is a pretty vanilla playbook.

This is one of the main questions I have at this point. Will there be variety in playbooks? I sure hope so. I hope every team doesn't have the one from the demo.

Same here. I would expect the full game to at least a little more variety. At the very least some more formations and some more personal packages for the ones in the demo.

I would bet that they just assigned every team in the demo the same playbook in order to limit the file size.

I don't need a huge amount of plays or playbooks just a decent number of formations to choose from.

Re: Backbreaker Playbooks?

A great innovative tool would be picking plays like this

I-Form
Strong Right
Toss Right

like you call out the formation yourself, maybe not complete create a playbook, but you form it yourself kind of. It would take away the generic part of it, maybe. From what I have read so far with create a teams and different size leagues, and all the that, playbooks isnt a big deal
