For a sport that requires great timing, even in real life, the online needs work.

it's such a strange thing with this game. now granted, i've only played a total of three online games. the thing is, the lag is nearly non existent when I'M pitching. when i'm batting, the sh1t hits the fan. i'm not very aware of the online situation with this game. someone, just please tell me these aren't dedicated servers for the show

They do not use dedicated servers. From what I know, it's purely connection based. I've only had lag/delay issues on 4 or 5 swings out 40-45 innings of play.

Yeah, they did a good job with online this year. For the most part, it's very playable.

I'm surprised of how good the online has been so far.

            Hope it stays this way.

My experiecne has been hit or miss. Some games its great, some games it feels like 09. I suck at hitting in online this year though. In 6 games I've played I put up 3 shutouts. I'm only averaging 1.7 runs per game lol.

I dont know my timing is just off in online and if there is any lag it can make hitting a nightmare. Also its way to easy to pitch online. All my games have been low scoring on both sides because we pitch like Cy Young winners.
