*Disclaimer: This is not meant to be a breaking news source, but a place to catch up for people who've missed something, as well as a summary. I'll never be up-to-the-minute, because when news comes from 15 sources at once, I need time to read them and decide the best source to reference. I don't want this to be just a list of links, so I want to get the important info in and source it. In other words; it will take a day or two for stuff to show up here, at least.

02/05/10- Join us at Super Bowl halftime to kick off a new season of Madden NFL football! by Ian Cummings
03/24/10- This blog covers various aspects of WR catching. Specifically what types of animations are played. by Ian Cummings
Community Day Comments: This showed good improvement. I specifically remember Gaithers pointing out a catch by a WR who had broken free on a post route turning his body and opening his hands to the ball. It looked great. Saw a significantly greater variety of catch animations. Many were in last year but rarely played. The over-the-shoulder catch we saw repeatedly last year did not trigger that I can remember.
04/07/10 Madden NFL 11 locomotion... acceleration, cuts, and making a more realistic Madden. By Ryan Burnsides
Community Day Comments: This felt great on defense, some work needed on offense. Spoke with Ryan Burnsides extensively over both community days and came away feeling good having him on gameplay design. I felt it wasn't as prevalent offensively as it should be and made a few suggestions on how to make it work without killing the responsiveness.
* Realistic mid-air collisions have been mo-capped, presumably eliminating the unrealistic flip frequency (per Ian Cummings twitter account, 12-10-09)
Community Day Comments: Definitely improved on. The mid-air collisions in M11 looked great, for the most part. A bit of suction in places now, but infinitely better than last year.
* The phenomena of linemen ignoring defenders lined up directly over them and blocking someone downfield is "at the top of the list" for Madden 11 fixes (per Ian Cummings twitter account, 12-23-09)
*Only1LT and Jim Reilly passed on a to an article that mentions "an innovative and new take on Madden" in the works. Ian Cummings added his input via Twitter.
Community Day Comments: An innovative and new take on Madden is a bit of hyperbole. Madden isn't changing from what it is.
