Re: Catching
I have found that if you move the quarterback a little bit just before you throw the ball (like stepping up in the pocket, or just a little nudge to the left or right) the pass is more likely to be caught. For whatever reason, it just seems that the ball is better thrown when the qb is on the move. You don't have to call a roll-out pass, because those are almost to easy. Make since? just try it.If a loved one is expecting a baby or just had one, please read about Craniosynostosis. It is a common birth defect that can sometimes be overlooked by doctors.

Re: Catching
NOoooo that in some cases can make it worse stay neutral when you drop back I guarantee you'll get better if you work on user catching DO NOT always let the cpu catch for you with maximum passing throw it in a spot to where you can switch in the reciever and catch it without getting in contact with the defender...just practice user catchingComment

Re: Catching
i had the same problem as you when i got the game just put human catch at 100 and hope for the best, and make sure you read the coverage and pass to receiver when in stride he will have a better chance to catch the ball.Originally posted by mm boostFinally, someone that has slider's that makes for a nail-biter hard fought win.Originally posted by Bigshow63Hey Vai, just wanted to say great sliders. I've tried them all and these seem to play the best of any of them out there.Comment

Re: Catching
If you're using a good QB, maybe try 3 instead of 6. I had to go up to 6 because of the lousy QB the Raiders have. With Russell and Passing at 6 along with the rest of my sliders, I complete around 58% on average, depending on my play selection.Comment

Re: Catching
Utorde I was wondering what sliders do you use? Because right now I'm using Bill's sliders and I changed my human passing to 6 because I use the raiders. I also raised the fatigue to around 28 because my players seemed to get tired after 2 plays. Could you just give me the sliders you use for your games? Btw I'm using the default rosters till I buy action replay.Comment

Re: Catching
That would be great because my running game is way to easy with Bill's sliders. I use the chargers and I racked up 242 yards on 44 carries but that was a 2OT game. Also, I've noticed if you change the human passing and catching, no matter how much you do it WR's that suck will still suck no matter what you do. They just can't seem to catch the sideline throws and the ones in traffic. Also, could you explain to me how to change a teams playbook to be more realistic. I know you can do it before each game starts by going to options, but i want to keep the original offensive playbook and just ONLY change the defense. Do you know a way I can go by doing this? I know you can use Finn's editor and change the depth chart to whatever you like but I haven't tried it out yet. Does that work and is that what you did?Comment

Re: Catching
how do you get the WR to make the sideline catch? It seems like they don't try and stay in bounds on those sideline catches.Comment

Re: Catching
My recievers don't even get a chance to catch the ball cause db's and safeties are all over them. Way tooooo many interceptions. I've tried many different sliders and nothing. It's like the defense knows EXACTLY what play I run or where I'm going to throw it. It's crazy. Love the game though, just don't play any games in the game, just practice cause the interceptions are ridiculous.Comment
