New Football Sim Game - Pro Football Simulator

I have a new game released at barcodegames.com

The game is a football sim with support for NFL style leagues. You can import pro players and pro teams into the game and play single against the AI, or you can join online leagues and compete against other GM's.

We're trying to grow the community to get some more feedback for online leagues.

There is game planning involved. You're responsible for setting 53 man rosters. You're also responsible for lineups across the various formations and then for playcalling tendencies for those various formations.

The playbooks are locked down right now, but they are configuration files, so it will be possible in the future to create your own plays or tweak the ones there for better engine results.

Great !! can I game plan against the CPU ? Do I get so info on there tendencies and try to put up a gameplan to stop them? Thanks for all the info.

At this time, no. But it gives me some ideas on what to put into a some sort of "Matchup" screen.

Multiple releases have gone out thanks to the support by the community. We've added updated screens, importing of draft classes, and new league formats for USFL 14 Team (1984) and 18 Team (1985)

Does this game have an offseason mode which carries over to the next season(s)?

Yup, the game is mainly used for multiplayer leagues where each owner controls their roster, play calling, depth chart, etc.

In the off-season some players will retire, some will re-up their contracts, and some will test free agency. Then the owners can bid on them, sign them, and proceed to the next season.
