Re: BCFX review on OXM website
"We respect how Black College Football: The Xperience celebrates an aspect of the sport that EA’s NCAA series never has, and we admire the indie drive and enthusiasm it took to get the game made. So it pains us to have to say that it’s just not too fun to play."
Nothing to see here folks move along...Comment

Re: BCFX review on OXM website
I'll play the game myself and decide for myself, and not let one writers opinion from a magazine article determine things for me. It's always better to think for yourself.Last edited by TheWatcher; 07-30-2009, 06:59 PM.Comment

Re: BCFX review on OXM website
I want this football game to succeed....
at first I wasn't sure, graphic wise how well it would look with the unreal engine.....but judging from the videos...it looks real good.....
but......I don't think they should try to sell this sports game for $60 if it doesn't have franchise....let alone online play.... I know they are a very small indie studio...so I can understand the franchise situation....but YOU HAVE TO HAVE ONLINE PLAY.....especially if you're selling the game on the 360, which requires gamers to pay to play online.....Xbox live is one of the main reason to own a 360. Maybe they should port a PS3 version as a PSN download at a cheaper price.
I could have swore I read somewhere that the game was going to be sold for $29.99. :/
either way I don't have a 360, so I have to find the PC version.Last edited by Afrikan; 07-26-2009, 11:42 PM.Comment

It’s just too bare-bones to keep you playing as long as the game’s $60 price would lead you to expect.Comment

Re: BCFX review on OXM website
No career or dynasty modes; no online play. WTF mode can we play? Just one season and exhibition? That's gay.Comment

Re: BCFX review on OXM website
Season mode and local head to head play are the main modes of play for this.
The rhythm game in the halftime show is probably the reason why they don't have any online play. If it's anything like Rock Band or Guitar Hero, lag would be a real issue.Comment

Re: BCFX review on OXM website
Im sure that 99.999 percent of the world, and 99% of the gaming community doesn't give a crap what this game got.
Epic Fail
Gotta give em props for trying though, but anyone could see this coming. Id love to see the sales figures for this oneGT: Event Horizon 0Comment

Re: BCFX review on OXM website
After a number of delays, this is (officially) coming out tomorrow.
Available retailers are Amazon, Gamestop, Frys and Wal-Mart.
Looking forward to playing a new, non-EA football game for the first time in two years.
Also, interesting note about that OXM review:
For whatever it's worth, the developers have started a bit of controversy over how it was made from a beta copy instead of a finished copy.Last edited by jyoung; 09-29-2009, 02:09 AM.Comment
