How to stop the Triple Option

Does anyone have any tips for me on how to stop the triple option in the the flex formation. It is the offense that Georgia Tech runs in real life. My buddy DirtySouth12 thinks he is UNSTOPPABLE running the option, but I told him it can be stopped, just not by ME. Someone should challenge him and whoop that A$$ for me so he runs something other than the TRIPLE OPTION. What defensive playcalls are the best to stop it? He knows what he is doing when he runs it so I feel pretty much helpless in trying to stop it.

Run DE Contain and control one of the DT's to cover the full-back option.

Yea, DirtySouth12 runs it all day long because he says NO ONE can stop it. I kept getting pissed off at him telling him it was "cheez", but he kept disagreeing with me. Someone needs to bust his A$$ for me!

Re: How to stop the Triple Option

technically its really not cheese, there are teams that run the option 70% of the time. maybe more if you count option passes, and the fullback dives that didnt have time to look like an option.

Re: How to stop the Triple Option

I agree that teams use it in real life I am not doubting that. DirtySouth12 runs the option atleast 85% of the game under that wishbone or whatever it is that Georgia Tech uses. It doesnt matter what defense I call against it he gets either 5 yards up the middle with the fullback or a good chunk of yards when he pitches it to his RB. I am almost to the point of not playing him anymore because its damn near impossible to stop if your opponent knows how to run it. Someone needs to send a friends request to DirtySouth12 and bust his A$$~

Blitz A gap, because when the center blocks down there is always a gap there. It's so easy to stop.
